When Karl Lagerfeld put his mug on t-shirts for his H&M collection, I thought he was nuts (and so did everyone else, judging by the ones I remember seeing on the sale racks). But then when Urban Outfitters brand 'Truly Madly Deeply' turned him into a Powepuff Girls style cartoon and whacked him on a tee, the entire CQ team ended up getting them. Now Kaiser Karl has done it again, this time sending models down the catwalk with tote bags emblazoned with his grumpy face. You know what I'm going to ask now... [image: Rex Features]
Keira Knightley let her dress do all the talking at last night's premiere of her latest film The Duchess in London's Leicester Square. The cornflower blue dress from Alexis Mabille's Autumn 2008 Couture collection was accessorised with only black patent Moschino square-toe heels, a Chanel ring and pretty much a basic ponytail. She looks pretty but is it also snooze-worthy? What do you think of her look?
More and more of these double-layered dresses and skirts are slowly appearing on the high street, which leads me to believe they're taking off in a big way.
That said, I've yet to see anyone out and about wearing one, which either says something about the circles I move in (and the amount of time I spend at home in front of the telly) or something about the women of London and their taste in clothing.
The most recent double-skirted dress I've spotted is this red number with a black underskirt and belt from River Island. It's yours for £49.99 and you know what the next question is...
Yay or Nay? Would you give it a go or is this a trend too far for you?
We've talked a lot in the past about real fur, and it's safe to say the topic always results in a great debate. But this time, I want to know what you think of the fakes. There'll be loads of faux fur jackets and coats in the shops in the coming months, but do you think they're a good idea? Is fake fur a bit of fun, or are you worried people will think you're wearing the real thing? Or do you just think it looks rubbish? Let us know with a comment below*.

*a quick note about comments - we're sorry we have to hold and approve them all. It's not because we don't trust you, it's because we get hundreds of spam ones each day (no, really) and they slow down the site and make our job impossible.
If, like me, you have barely moved off the couch this weekend for fear of missing all the action from the Beijing Olympics, then you'll also probably have some thoughts on what you've seen so far fashion-wise. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the national uniforms on parade at Friday's opening ceremony, especially that of Australia (my home country) - I mean, blue parachute tracksuits, blergh! But it's the Brits who we're here to discuss. Dressed by denim master Tim Browne of Lee Cooper Jeans, 'our' guys looked stylish and preppy in cream blazers, navy blue shirts, teamed with navy tailored trousers for the lads, and knee-length skirts for the ladies.
What are your thoughts? Was our team's national uniform a yay or nay? Vote after the jump...
This week it's the turn of this strapless silk ribbon dress. What do you think of the loose, flowing shape and raspberry colour? Vote Yay or Nay now, and don't forget to leave a comment to let us know why you voted what you did. We'll reveal where it's from next week, so if you know please don't ruin it for everyone else by saying!
