Yay or Nay: Amy Adams' floral dress at the Gotham Independent Film Awards

amyadams_gothamfilmawards.jpg

We're huge fans of Amy Adams' style here at Catwalk Queen. In fact, we all agree she just keeps getting better and better on the red carpet, faultlessly picking colours and styles which flatter and accentuate. However, this floral Carolina Herrera dress had us taking pause: does she look her usual flawless self or a bit too mum-sy for our liking? We can't decide, so we'll ask you - what do you think? Vote in our poll below!

Yay or Nay: Sienna Miller's lace-up back dress at Hollywood Domino launch

siennamiller_dominos.jpg

After the masses of press attention which has followed her around in recent months, things started to get quiet lately on the Sienna Miller front as she, quite sensibly, decided to lay low. Well, you can take the girl out of the party but you can't seem to take the party out of the girl... and so we saw the welcome return of Sienna to the London party scene over the weekend for the Hollywood Domino launch at Mosimann's.

Just like her personal life seems to divide opinion, her fashion choices are often the subject of friendly debate - and the outfit she chose to wear here is a perfect example of one which you will probably either love or hate. So... do you love or do you hate? Vote below!

Yay or Nay: Gwyneth Paltrow's see-through dress at 'Two Lovers' Paris premiere

Hands up who is loving the new risk-taking Gwyneth Paltrow? I, for one, can't get enough of her vertiginous heels, thigh-skimming mini dresses and newfound confidence for treading the red carpet. But has she taken things a touch too far this time with an undie-revealing lace dress from Antonio Berardi's Spring 2009 collection? In case you skimmed over that part, I will say it again: you can see her undies guys.

Personally, I think she looks great and I am quite taken with the dress, but I can imagine there will many who don't agree (reading the comments over at the Daily Mail is a pretty good indication of this). She teamed the racy lacy frock with some opinion-dividing Rupert Sanderson booties, which I'm not a fan of on their own but which actually work perfectly in creating the overall look.

What do you think of Gwynnie's racy look? Vote below...

Hot or Not: Mena Suvari at FEARnet's 2nd Anniversary Party

menasuvari_lace.jpg[Image: Amanda Schwab/Rex Features]

Mena Suvari has been pushing the envelope lately when it comes to fashion choices and while some of her outfits may have been criticised as a little hit or miss, you can never fault someone for trying to experiment with their look or try something a little different.

Here she is at FEARnet's 2nd Anniversary Party, which for those of you who don't know (like me), is a web-based horror movie resource. Looking appropriately gothic-like for this Halloween week with black lace and blood-red lips, I put it to you to tell me: is her look hot or not? Vote below!

Yay or Nay? Jessica Biel's Louis Vuitton taffeta prom dress, 'Easy Virtue' London premiere

Neither the rain, nor wind or unseasonable snow could deter Jessica Biel from London's Leicester Square overnight for the premiere her new film, Easy Virtue. The young actress braved the chilly conditions in a shoulder-baring black taffeta prom dress from Louis Vuitton's A/W '08 collection. While she looked lovely, the dress seemed to almost swallow her. For example - where have her feet gone? For that, she has made our Yay or Nay segment. Cast your vote below in our poll below.

Would you wear these? Anna Sui's Paillette-embellished shorts

annasui_sequinshorts.jpg

Slightly reminiscent of Kylie's lame hot pants in her Spinning Around video (which I swore I would never attempt), these Anna Sui sequin shorts might have me changing my tune after I spotted them in Net-a-Porter's new lineup this week. They made me rivert back to this silver sequin skirt I saw on Knight Cat and think how they'd be just as perfect with flat ankle boots, a vest top and mussed-up hair at a rock gig as with black opaques and a sleek blazer (as styled above) for a swish evening out.

How about you? What do you think of them? And more importantly: would you wear them!?

Yay or Nay: Oasis' satin strapless dress

satindress.jpgThere's a lot about this Oasis dress that I love. Firstly, the colour is fabulous. This shade of blue works on everyone (especially redheads - see Nikka Costa for proof) and is perfect for drawing attention.

I also love the shape, the draping, and the cocktail chic cut.

But then there's the fabric. I can't help thinking satin is just a little bit..um...soap awards. Not that there's anything wrong with the soap awards, but they do bring us things like this (on the left). It's hard to pull off fitted satin without looking cheap. Do you think you could with this lil number?

You know the drill...Yay or Nay?
