Mad props to Coral Stars for coming across the blog these photos were on, they're a real treat! Anja at Clever Nettle (check out her Etsy shop) unearthed these photographs at an antique sale, and they document the various outfits of a young girl in the '30s. Surely the oldest example of a Wardrobe Remixer?
The girl's clothes are distinctive and sassy and her pose is coolly defiant, I love her!

Sequins and tacky plastic are just the thing to bring a bit of cheer to the dull mid-season. Vintage burgundy boots will never go out of style and this pair have a subtle western feel. A pretty striped retro skirt is summery and cheery but will look great with grey opaques. Finally, a feathered band is an easy way to add drama to any outfit.

Every so often a vintage piece takes your breath away (sequinned handprint tunic anyone?!) and this University jumper by Rokit is one of those special pieces.
The £85 price is fairly reasonable for a genuine '40s item in such good condition, from the collegiate badges you can tell the original owner was a dab hand at badminton and tennis. The jumper would look great teamed with jeans and loafers for a casual yet on-trend outfit. Preppy is back with people like Andre Benjamin's Benjamin Bixby collection and this is the perfect way to get the authentic look.

For this week's eBay picks I've selected a range of vintage bags which will add panache to any outfit. The red lizard will look great as part of a dramatic outfit, or to give some class to a simple pair of jeans. The mink bag makes a great addition to a ensemble of sober neturals. The Gladstone bag is pure retro gold for any vintage fans out there and the textured woven plastic is a whimsical quirky item.

Is it a sculpture? No it's Prada's fantastic banana heel brogue detailed shoe! Bow ties are hot, just ask Elinkan, put it on your head and you will look wonderful. The fuchsia vintage heels will really add a pop of colour to any outfit, snap them up and Topshop's taffeta skirt is a great find if you missed it first time round.

Take your pick from a bodycon dress, leather skater skirt or gold-buckled pixie boots. A gold chain bracelet is the perfect accessory and nothnig says 'Rawk!' like an old band tee.
