To help you while away the hours if you're snowed in, we could bring you loads of snow-themed outfits, chunky scarves and wellies. We'll probably do that as well, but I thought perhaps an antidote was in order as an alternative. So here are some definitely non-Snowy bits and bobs from Catwalk Queen that you might not have seen before...

Every now and then, when I'm supposed to be doing actual work, I log into our stats report to see what you lot have been searching for. By typing in things like 'Who is' and 'Where can' in the keywords section, I often stumble upon interesting questions that have lead people to Catwalk Queen. I also come across some very strange queries.
Here are some of the more recent ones, starting with the most frequently asked questions and moving onto the more silly stuff...
Where to buy mad men clothes / dresses?
Most of the Mad Men clothes are vintage or custom made for the show. I'd recommend Vivien of Holloway, Stop Staring and Dolly Dagger for reproduction dresses, Vintage Vogue and Butterick Retro for reproduction sewing patterns of styles from the late fifties, and good old eBay for vintage shopping, along with Devoted 2 Vintage, Candy Says and Vintagedress.co.uk. Also keep an eye our for Frock Me! events.

We just saw Larry David, which Kat will be very happy about, meanwhile we're much happier about spotting the lovely James McAvoy, here to present, but also to support Forest Whitaker, his co-star in 'The Last King Of Scotland'. He's currently charming Fearne Cotton with his Scots drawl. Love him. Still, men in suits are all well and good...we want to see the dresses, and they still seem to be eluding us in favour of people talking about how important it is to walk down the red carpet looking amazing. "Most actresses have no sense of style whatsoever!" says Angela Buttolph. Hmm, funny how a stylist would say that. Kim has already taken to calling her 'Angela Butthole'. I'm saying nothing...
Is there a burning fashion question that you're desperate to have answered? Or have you always wondered how to wear a certain trend, style or item of clothing? Or perhaps you're just unsure about what's hot and what's so not right now? Whatever it is, help is on its way dear readers with this week's Style Council. But before we can start shooting our next video we want to hear from you.

However you choose to do, just make sure you get them in people so we can attempt to answer them to the best of our ability. All questions will be credited.
"I know you just did a feature on 'How to dress: Shopping in New York" and while it was fabulous, the clothing choices were a tad too "old" for my taste. I'm going to be staying in New York for 2 weeks in the summer and I was wondering if you can show how to dress more young and funky, but still tasteful and in style for NYC. Thanks so much!" - Sarah (Canada)
Well Sarah, I think the most important thing is that you feel comfy, so even though you thought the last outfit was a bit old, I am going to steal one item from it, and suggest you take along a really great pair of jeans! After that, I suggest going for simple print tees, a couple of day-to-night dresses (very Carrie Bradshaw) items you can layer and things that'll take you from day to night just by switching shoes. I've gone for a red, black and white theme, and I've made sure every site offers international shipping (except Gap, but try your local store). It's all under the cut because it's a fairly big wardrobe...

The email requests for prom and formal dresses are trickling in as we come towards the lasts term of school and university. I remember the trouble I had trying to find the perfect dress for my leaver's do - I ended up making my own! So to help you poor formal shoppers out there, over the next few weeks we'll be bringing your our favourites from across the web and the high street. We'll start with some quirky takes on classic styles from those of you who want to move away from the norm.
Debut's £80 black checked prom dress mixes a classic style with an unexpected fabric. To avoid this looking too twee, I'd top it off with some punky accessories. Perhaps 80s style stiletto shoes and chunky beads...in red of course! Meanwhile, Oasis are also using check in an even more directional style with their tulip skirted dress. This one needs serious guts to pull it off. Keep accessories to a minimum. All you really need are heels and an unfussy hairstyle.
