Cos, the grown-up, slightly more stylish sister to H&M, is launching its first-ever swimwear range.
Elle UK reports that the debut range is fuss-free and ultra-flattering. It is also available in a wide range of colours, including neutral tones and contrasting panels. They are sold as separates, to make sure you get the perfect fit.
As for the price... Well, you'll be happy to hear that pieces range from £15 to £25.
Not bad for some of the most comfy swimwear that you're likely to find this summer. In stores now!
This behind the scenes video is a little different from most, like most it goes behind the scenes and introduces you to the people who helped create the H&M WaterAid bikini campaign, but it goes further to show how the photographers airbrush the images. You literally see lumps and imperfections disappear. If only we had a airbrusher following us around when ever we're wearing a bikini.
A bit of celebrity endorsement can do wonders for a brand, and Ed Hardy definitely has the monopoly on that. Everyone from Madonna to Mick Jagger have been snapped in the brand's tattoo printed casualwear. Think of the range as the Von Dutch / Juicy alternative for the Kitson generation...it's not so much a label as a lifestyle, with its own energy drink, water, cologne, air fresheners and God knows what else. In fact, CEO Christian Audigier head designer and CEO of Von Dutch for 3 years, so he knows the power of promotion...
If there's one thing in the world I like buying more than anything else (except maybe bags, of course!), it's swimwear. Some people go nuts for shoes; for other people, hats are the bees knees. But me, I have a (perhaps uncommon) habit of topping up my swimsuit collection with unfailing regularity. Seeing as the weather is more than a little beach worthy at the moment, I seem to be experiencing bikini frenzy again (not seen since last June, when I first arrived on these shores!)
In between my yacht-lounging daydreams, I've been scouting around and have managed to find a few which would definitely placate the swimsuit addict in me...
Could times be any more exciting over at Agent Provocateur right now? There are the new risqué ad campaigns for '08, the return of Kate Moss, as well as being the host of year's fashion-packed Life Ball... it's all a bit too much! I think I'll calm my nerves by turning my attentions to their new swimwear range in store and available online as we speak.
