This week it's the turn of high street denim and Gemma and I take a look at pegged, distressed, acid and traditional blue jeans from River Island and French Connection. High-waists are a trend that have been around for quite a while now so we thought we'd give it the once over on CQ and we even roped intern Alison in!

In what is probably the most embarassing video I've ever filmed, I eschewed my usual dresses to join Zara in testing out jeans from two promblem-solving denim brands. First up, Tummy Tuck jeans help to flatten your tum, lift your bum and allow you to wear a size smaller than usual. Meanwhile, Little In The Middle jeans work on hourglass figures to stop the gape you get with regular cuts. Sadly, the pairs we tried were a tad small for our festive figures, so do forgive the sausage roll effect around my waist. The diet starts now!

Part two in our Westfield video and Gemma and I were surprised to see some of the most exclusive Topshop offerings which are often hard to get online and sometimes even sold out.

There's nothing I like better than getting up an hour earlier than normal on a freezing Thursday morning to go from my cosy South London flat to the wilds of Shepherd's Bush...
