Summer, weddings, graduations... It's nice to bare some flesh in a fancy frock but until now I've stayed away from strapless. The shape is never right, they feel rock hard and there's always the danger of a wardrobe malfunction!
Wonderbra have come up with the Ultimate Strapless Bra, bursting with a whole host of features including a revolutionary underwire system to guarantee a natural, smooth shape, uplift and a far more secure fit. Check out our video to find out exactly how it works.
Isabelle and Zara tell you why Italian shoes are worth the hefty price tags, using these unique examples from Bionda Castana. Encompassing key trends, while still being different enough to set you out from the crowd, they're a great look for summer.
Zara and I got our feet out to showcase some fancy socks from Topshop and Tightsplease, including a gorgeous Bebaroque pair. Sheer, holey and sparkly, all types of socks get a look-in in this vid. They're great for a little warmth when the sun goes down on these tentatively sunny days, so take a look at our clip to give you summer styling ideas.
Prepare your eyes for this video, which has been described as 'David Lynch on acid teaching your French class'!
In this clip Kelly and I cover all the the hard-to-pronounce names in fashion, from Yves Saint Laurent to Jean Charles de Castelbajac it's all you'll ever need! I go through all the French designers in my best français (I knew it was useful for something!) and Kelly runs through other tricky names from around the world. Let us know what you think, and have we forgotten anyone?
Bit of a farewell vid this as it's Gemma's last, we talk it up about Agy's breakup, Umbro's new England kit and Michelle Obama giving a presidential telling off to her husband.
Gemma also lends us her expert knowledge of all things vintage showing us how to dress like one of the cast of Mad Men, so whether you're Joan Holloway, Betty Draper or Peggy Olson watch on!
Last week we spoke to a handful of London College of Fashion MA Fashion Curation students on the opening of their exhibition Occupying Spaces: The White Dress Project just off Carnaby Street. The students picked a historically significant pattern, and made it up in white the dresses were then displayed in a variety of ways, including pinned across the entrance, primed for dirty London feet!
We also spoke to LCF lecturer Amy de la Haye who co-directed the project with colleague Judith Clark, click to watch our interviews and get a glimspe of the exhibition.
Occupying Spaces: The White Dress Project runs until April 23 at 65-67 Broadwick Street. For further information, visit www.carnaby.co.uk.
We're going gaga for fringing at the moment, and Gemma and I reviewed some select pieces we wish were worming their way into our wardrobes!
