If you managed to survive the Boxing Day sales then I bow down to you. However, if like me you have stuck to the much safer online sales, then you may have been lucky and nabbed some decent bargains. If not, then there is still time. Net-a-porter.com has further reductions in the US and UK, while Browns has a huge 50% off on designers such as Balenciaga, YSL and Lanvin. Happy shopping!

Summer sale season has begun, but before you go wild in the swimwear aisles with your hard-earned cash, bear in mind the following sorry sales tale. A friend of mine picked up a pair of spectacular Miu Miu pink glitter wedges for a fraction (like, 1/100th)) of their original price in Selfridges a few years back. One pair left, her size. Debates as to whether they were marked down wrongly dominate our conversations to this day. This - as I'm sure you'll agree - is good sales shopping.
I however, once came home from a sales trip proudly clasping a pair of blue, glittery, camouflage print leggings. I have no excuses, and despite keeping them in my sock drawer for about two years now, have still yet to wear them.

Greek-born designer Erotokritos Antoniadis was bang on the space-influenced trend before it started appearing all over the catwalks, and now you can snap up one of his stellar creations for a bargain price at Cocosa. We've also got our beady eyes on up-and-coming sales from Josh Goot and Hannah Marshall, which should both be first-rate.
The drapey dresses are ideal for making a statement at a summer wedding this year and starting at £99 the prices aren't much more than what you would pay for a high street frock. Our pick, above will definitely get you noticed, the purple bustier style is great for enhancing curves and the appliqué dress is both quirky and stylish. The dress on the right marries luxe silver with grey marl jersey and would take you seamlessly from day to night. Jump through for full product details, hurry though because the sale runs out in less than 48hrs!

It's sale time again so if you haven't sorted your summer wardrobe yet now is the time to snap up a bargain.
Jaeger are offering up to 50% off selected lines, with the shattered stripe dress is reduced from £299 to £199, perfect for summer weddings where you want to make an impression.
Our picks include the wet look balloon sleeve blouse reduced to £60, it's a great antidote to girly if you find it hard to wear typically summery clothes. For all those channelling the Chanel look their purple quilted pump is hard to beat and only £80. Lastly, who could forget the Talitha bag (£199)? The fringed bag is unmistakeably Jaeger, and will make every outfit a knockout.
When Kate Moss stepped out in that silver sequinned Balmain dress last month it had everyone talking. Well for those who can't quite afford Balmain (so, just about most of us) Goddiva has come up with a much more affordable alternative. This silver and black sparkly minidress is also on sale, reduced from £26 to just £16. Throw on some black tights and shiny black bag and you're as good as Miss Moss.

We've just had a sneaky bit of news from My Wardrobe, all their sale items will be dropping to clearance tomorrow with some items up to 80%. That is some serious discounting on some already pretty good prices.
CQ's favourite picks are Malene Birger's blouse, currently priced at £78, and L'autre Chose's decadent suede fringed boots which will set you back £134.50. Finally a leather minidress might seem impractical but when it's a Hannah Marshall piece we say go for it! The price for that at the moment is £388 but stick around to see what bargains you can get hold of tomorrow!

Cocosa have a great haul of Marios Schwab frocks which is bringing up some serious lust, and not the pretty kind. I'm talking ruthless, jealous, obsessive desire with a bit of Wicked Witch of the East thrown in, the three dresses pictured above in particular are inspiring a strong longing.
The delicate prints, inspired by the human body are delineated with black body con shapes which de-prettify the girliness. I'm now dreaming up ways of making my own Schwab-esque bodices to wear over my floral summer frocks. Despite the massive reductions at Cocosa it's the closest thing I'll get to the real thing for some time now!
