Aren't I in a festive mood today? And why wouldn't I be with so much to look forward to this Christmas.
For instance, Luella Bartley is jumping the holiday queue early by launching her ultimate Christmas list of goodies and window display today at Liberty of London. The British designer has teamed up with the department store to open her holiday grotto choc-full of Christmassy treats and trinkets.
There are all sorts of goodies to get your mitts on from a vintage Navy Philip's Street Atlas Of London (£8.99) to a gorgeous black polka dot corset dress (pictured, £995).
So pop by Liberty later today for a candy cane or two, and a spot of holiday shopping with Luella. Arrive at 6.30pm and you'll have a chance to meet the lady herself or at least get your photo with old Saint Nick.
Escada has been saved after Megha Mittal bought the insolvent Germany company for an undisclosed sum.
Mittal is the daughter-in-law of billionaire Lakshmi Mittal, chief executive of steel company ArcelorMittal. She outbid Sven Ley, the son of Escada's son Wolfgang Ley to take over the luxury company, and will retain Escada CEO Bruno Saelzer.
Apparently Mittal has been looking to make a fashion investment for some time and has previously expressed an interest in Gianfranco Ferre. Escada filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.

Burberry is getting in on the social networking action with the launch of a brand new website. Artofthetrench.com, a nod to their iconic trenchcoat, is a non-commercial portal aimed at extending the interaction between Burberry and its fans beyond Facebook and Twitter.
No doubt the live streaming of the label's spring 2010 show, which was seen by 700,000 Facebook fans, set the cogs turning for Christopher Bailey.
"[It's] a way for our fans to interact with the culture of the brand and with the emotional aspects of the trenchcoat," said Bailey.

Yes, yes, yes! Why didn't we think of this earlier? Marks & Spencer plus Ab Fab = super funny ads for the holiday season! Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders have signed on to be the new faces of M&S's Christmas '09 campaign. But that's not all! The funny ladies also join John Sergeant, Stephen Fry and Mark's favourite, Twiggy, in the new ads which hit back at the issue of ageism in British TV.

He may not be planning a stint on reality television any time soon, but Henry Holland was certainly the toast of the town Tuesday evening.
The designer unveiled his capsule collection for Debenhams, H! by Henry Holland, with a preview of what we can look forward to next spring. As the latest name on the Designers at Debehams roster (along with Matthew Williamson, Betty Jackson) it did come as a bit of a surprise that the too-cool-for-school Hezza Hozza would design for Debenhams. So, what was the outcome?
Not bad! Described by Holland as "an exciting and adventurous mix of happy grunge for a different, younger customer," he certainly opens the door for the younger customer while maintaining his eclectic street style.
