Outfit Pick: Marc by Marc Jacobs skirt

outfit pick river island marc jacobs lurex.jpg

Marc by Marc Jacobs' tulip skirt is reduced at Flannels to a very affordable sixty pounds, which easily kicks off a chic and quirky outfit.

A simple knit top with a lurex shimmer doesn't distract from the shape of the skirt and provides a foil for River Island's wonderfully OTT necklace (we love it!). Topshop's pink brogues are the perfect summer shoe, flat, bright and with a vintage feel, they add an unexpected edge to the ensemble. See after the jump for full product details.

The fashion crowd is going mad for the return of Kurt Geiger's Fashionista range and their Bastille heels provide the perfect foil for a mix-up of floral patterns. The tights, skirt and slouchy cardie work towards an eccentric look when teamed together. Lacy socks and an old-school style bra add a lingerie touch, the ultraplain watch is the only accessorising you need and stops the outfit from looking too girly. See after the jump for full product details.

Outfit pick: Floral & coral!

outfit_miss_s_skirt.jpg

I'm sorry guys, I tried my best but it's back to matchy-matchy land for my latest outfit pick. I just couldn't resist the allure of creating something really OTT and girly with this fab two-layer floral skirt from Miss Selfridge. With an origami detail Lipsy top tucked in and belted, some blingy accessories and some amazing Carvela shoes, it'll be (I can't believe I'm going to say this...) coralicious...

Outfit Pick: Riviera chic for a sunny day in London town!

outfitpick_rivierachic.jpg [Click the image to view a larger version]

The beautiful sunshine today has got me wanting to dress more like I'm on the Italian Riviera than the mean streets of Central London. Sadly, it's still not quite warm enough to eschew jeans for bare legs and sundresses, but I can still live vicariously through the wonders of photoshop...

Outfit pick: Citrus brights go super-bold with a floral dress & clashing accessories.

When it comes to outfit picks, I am the queen of matchy-matchy, which is why I'm now trying to take a leaf out of Isabelle's book and add in at least one unexpected piece, mix my metals, clash colours or play around with textures. This citrus outfit is my antidote to the dull, grey weather we're currently facing. Mixing shades of coral, red and yellow with mis-matched silver and gold trims and a fabulously kitschy Kenneth Jay Lane owl necklace, this is not a look for the faint hearted. Add black tights and ditch the clutch to calm it down a bit! Keep reading for product info...

Outfit Pick: Layering leggings with Topshop's gothic lace

Meshy leggings have been on my wishlist for a while now and as soon as I spotted these Topshop ones I was smitten. They're great for adding texture to an outfit and you can change your look by adding coloured opaques underneath, perfect for this unseasonably cold weather. Try adding them to a smart dress like Warehouse's Aztec frock for an interesting twist on a feminine ensemble. Jump trough for product details.
