One of the things I love about the interactive features on Catwalk Queen is that we get comments and emails from all over the world, not just from stylish ladies (or gents) in the UK.
This week's 'My Favourite Outfit' star is Tracy, who sent in this pic from Manila in the Philippines. Our Isabelle would be proud, as the whole look is created using pieces found in a local thrift store. I do love a bargain!
Tracy told us "A black and white ensemble is very easy to put together but the tricky part is how to make it interesting and not blah." I think she did that perfectly by layering up the shorter jacket over the pullover to keep it looking youthful, and keeping jewellery simple but stylish.

Monday means 'My Favourite Outfit' time, and this week reader and forumite Fi has sent in her current fave, a mix of high street finds from the likes of Dorothy Perkins, H&M, Topshop and Primark with a few cunning charity shop finds.
Why does she love it? Well, in her words, "it's smart and chic for work, yet it's still cool for a warm summer's day. The shorts and jacket don't match exactly, but look great paired together to form a suit. And the turquoise shoes and accessories give a summery pop of colour."

'My Favourite Outfit' gives you guys the chance to star on Catwalk Queen. Every Monday, a different reader outfit will be featured, as you show off what you love to wear. It might be a bargain find, a designer indulgence, an heirloom piece, a sentimental item you just can't ditch...or perhaps just your favourite new frock.
This week, to get the ball rolling, Emma (who more or less keeps our forums going when we're too busy finding out what Agyness Deyn wore last night) has sent in this snap of her in an amazing bargain from Bella Freud's tiny (and little-known) capsule range for Miss Selfridge. A fiver for a silk kimono top can't be bad! She teamed it with skinny jeans from New Look, a Vivienne Westwood necklace and a Dorothy Perkins hairslide.
Want to be featured? Send your favourite outfit to gemma@shinymedia.com with details of where you got it and why you love it so much.
Now that we've got our comments sorted out (for now), as of next week we'll be reinstating a lot of the old regular Catwalk Queen features. Think Frock Horror, Style This, I Love What You're Wearing and Hot or Not, to name but a few.
We're also going to bring you loads of new stuff, but to do that, we desperately need your help. From next Monday, CQ will be showing off your style with 'My Favourite Outfit'. The idea is pretty self-explanatory. Take a snap of you in your favourite outfit, tell us where you got it and why you love it, send it to me at the usual address, gemma@shinymedia.com, and I'll publish it for all the world to see. Well, maybe not all the world, but all our visitors at least.
To inspire you, here's CQ's Isabelle in her favourite outfit from Roberto Cavalli at H&M*
*ok, maybe it's not her favourite...but I couldn't resist!

If there's one thing in the world I like buying more than anything else (except maybe bags, of course!), it's swimwear. Some people go nuts for shoes; for other people, hats are the bees knees. But me, I have a (perhaps uncommon) habit of topping up my swimsuit collection with unfailing regularity. Seeing as the weather is more than a little beach worthy at the moment, I seem to be experiencing bikini frenzy again (not seen since last June, when I first arrived on these shores!)
In between my yacht-lounging daydreams, I've been scouting around and have managed to find a few which would definitely placate the swimsuit addict in me...

In anticipation of Sex and the City: the movie world première in London next Monday, I have thrown together the perfect SATC outfit, for that special night out with the girls. A fashionable tribute to Carrie Bradshaw, this ensemble is an ideal way to spend an evening watching the flick, drinking Cosmopolitans and discussing plot lines with your besties.

Help! Somebody! I don't think I can carry on if I don't get my hands on this magnificent dress. When I think of what my ideal cocktail dress would look like, this Star by Julian McDonald Cocktail Dress ticks all the right boxes.
Strapless? Check. Flamboyant? Check. Guaranteed to stand out from the crowd? Check.
True, the belt looks a bit naff but, take that off, sling on some glitzy heels with an equally glitzy bag (even better in red to really jazz it up) and you've got yourself one hell of an outfit. Available for £100 at Debenhams, you've also got yourself what I consider to be one hell of a bargain too.
