For a mag that rarely features models on its covers anymore, Gisele Bündchen has scored a major triumph by landing the April 2010 cover of American Vogue. The Brazilian supermodel appears in the annual "Shape" issue to talk about life as a new mum. She also shows off her adorable new son, Benjamin, officially for the first time.
"It was the most amazing experience of my life, feeling him come through my body. And once he was born, I never felt so empowered as looking at him and thinking, Oh, my God, we did it together!" she reveals. "I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband said, 'There's no way we're going to call him River."
Spotted in Paris this week was Kate Moss. Looking very French chic in a striped sweater, black scarf, sunglasses, a red cropped jacket and capri-style jeans. The supermodel looked rather happy, and why wouldn't you be with yet another Vogue UK cover under your belt. She has landed the April cover in a $15,000 Prada chandelier, marking her 29th for British glossy.
Gisele Bundchen's gorgeous new bub, Benjamin Brady, has finally been revealed to the public via his very first glossy mag cover - like mother, like son, huh?
Snapped by the paparazzi while taking her newborn out for his first car ride in Boston, the Brazillian gossip mag Quem, was quick to publish the exclusive photo for their cover. Benjamin was born on December 8, and is the first child for the supermodel and the second for her husband,Tom Brady.
What are we thinking of the all-blue play suit - yay or nay?
Things appear to be getting a little riled up in the ole' publishing houses of British Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
The claws have come out ahead of the release of the latest British ABC figures, with Vogue accusing Bazaar of bolstering their circulation figures by bundling the mag at newsstands with less glossy titles such as She and Coast.
"Fashion upstart Harper's Bazaar dances with the fishes by offering value packs at U.K. newsstands to bolster sales," wrote Vogue publisher, Stephen Quinn.
Another Aussie model making waves in the international pond is Abbey Lee Kershaw. The young stunner stars in a video segment for POP's upcoming issue. Straddling a motorcycle, Abbey poses seductively for the camera with the fan working overtime to give her the ultimate windblown look. It's the first time the magazine has used a motion segment - check it out by pressing play on the video above.
Giles Deacon has donned a different cap, this time as interviewer for LOVE magazine's latest issue. The designer sat down for a cosy chat with his pal Victoria Beckham about her burgeoning career in fashion design.
"I'm just happy to have someone who wants to talk to me [about this]. Normally, David's like, 'Stop it, I don't want to talk about clothes anymore! I want to talk about motorbikes and tattoos," she says.
It seems the newer and younger in Hollywood the better according to Vanity Fair - erm... no surprises there, huh? The magazine has gathered the crop of Tinsel Town's hottest young thangs for their annual Hollywood issue. The iconic three-fold cover spread features the likes of Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Amanda Seyfried, Mia Wasikowska, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, Anna Kendrick and British starlets Carey Mulligan and Rebecca Hall. It has once again been photographed by Annie Leibovitz (who else?) and will no doubt stir a bit of interest since Mulligan's Oscar nomination was announced overnight.
