For her last Topshop collection this year, Kate Moss has given us an extra treat - she has added nightwear and lingerie to her Holiday '09 range. Featuring a kimono bed jacket, silky slips and vintage-style bras and underwear, the supermodel was eager to include lingerie into her line, saying: "I love beautiful nightwear, it makes you feel great. Over the years, I've collected millions of vintage slips, nighties, camis and bed jackets."

You might think Kate Moss bringing out her umpteenth collection for Topshop would cue boredom and major disinterest. I mean, she's 'designed' some nice things in past collections, sure. And of course, there are certain items which always sell out super quickly. But shouldn't we really be way past being excited every time a new season drops? We *should*, but er, we're kind of not...
Call it curiosity, call it whatever you want. All we know is we'll be logging on to Topshop.com like a lot of you people come April 2nd, to see what she's got for us for Spring 09. By the looks of it, it'll be ditsy print overload with Kate teaming up with Liberty Art Fabrics for a few pieces. Plus, her very distinctive rock 'n roller vibe comes through as always in sequinned mini dresses and snakeskin print hotpants. Check out the full collection online and in store on Thursday.
Perhaps it's a sign of the economic strain that we are hearing from Kate Moss as she prepares to unveil her spring 2009 collection for Topshop. What other reason is there for the supermodel who rarely gives interviews, to dish on this her ninth collection for the retailer? Kate sat down with the Telegraph to show off her latest line which includes a capsule line of Liberty-printed camisoles and baby-doll dresses.
"They remind me of my mum. Like all those gorgeous 1970s shirts with little flower Liberty prints that are so delicate and really English, and so cute," she said.

Now, at any other time of year, I'd be on the phone to try and find out what on earth is going on here. But it's Christmas and anyone with a brain is on a 'long lunch' today. Or 'working from home'. So instead, I will ask you.
This dress, from Kate Moss's Topshop range, is currently selling for £264 (down from £528) on Yoox.com...
WTF?!
When it was in Topshop, this was probably about £50. So why is it now on a designer clearance site for five times the price? Is anyone really going to buy this?!
So really that's why they were so happy the other day... This probably comes as little surprise to many, but Kate Moss has just signed on for another three years at Topshop.
Sir Philip Green knows a cash cow when he sees one, and he isn't about to let his favourite supermodel go anytime soon, securing her for a few more collections.
Kate will continue her collaboration with the retailer by producing more clothing lines, as well as adding lingerie and accessories ranges to her repertoire *squeal*

I have been hoping something like this would happen with Kate Moss's brand for Topshop for some time now. Don't misunderstand me, I *heart* her stuff - heck I didn't queue up for eight bleeding hours for her debut range for nothing! But let's be frank, while her collections continue to sell-out, they wouldn't hurt from a bit of freshening up, an extra bit of oomph, if you get my drift.
This is why I am over-the-moon to be able to reveal that Kate will be collaborating with print masters, Liberty, for her spring/summer '09 collection. She will be teaming up with their designers to create pretty fabrics for her next round of dresses. Topshop confirmed the report in this morning's WWD. Although details are scarce, we do know that Kate loves a bit of floral with her frocks, so expect loads of gorgeous Liberty-esque prints for next year. Genius!

It looks like that plan to expand Kate Moss for Topshop China's way could be about to pay off. Vogue.com reports that the supermodel's high street label caused a frenzy in Hong Kong on Tuesday when it launched at luxury store Lane Crawford.
Topshop doesn't own a space in China yet, but as we mentioned in August, Sir Philip Green has been hoping to ink a deal at the Shanghai Superbrand Mall. Further spaces in Beijing and Hong Kong are also in the works.
