Bikini pant jeans - would you ever wear these?

bikinijeans.jpg

What do you say about a pair of super low-cut jeans fashioned to look like you have visible thong going on? Yes, visible thong. ON PURPOSE.

Apparently the beauty of these jeans from Japanese company, Sanna's Brazil Fashion, is that they show more skin than regular jeans but less skin than a regular bikini bottom.

I have to ask: Would you ever wear these?

Victoria Beckham expands DVB label to menswear

vicbeckmensjeans.jpgHitching another notch on her ever-expanding belt is Victoria Beckham who has decided to launch a range of men's jeans under her label dVb. Although don't expect to find any skinny jeans amongst the new collection.

"I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops - exactly how you see David when he's out in his jeans and T-shirt," she told DNR. "Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang!"

The Spice Girl admits she finds tight jeans 'repulsive' and instead aims for designs that are flattering and comfortable. Beckham's debut men's range features a boot fit style in five different washes and a back flap pock style, in a vintage stone-bleached wash.

"I'm a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I'm not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, 'Sell this perfume.' This is a real passion of mine. People think all I do is go shopping like a miserable cow, but, in actual fact, I work bloody hard."

All Saints Jacinth trousers

jacinth high waist all saints trousers.jpgPouchy, bloomery-type trousers might not seem like the most flattering garment especially for those who are large of derriere but teamed with a pair of heels and a fitted top they can look really hot.

A good place to start with this trend would be All Saints' Jacinth trousers which are a total bargain! They're reduced from £110 to a criminally cheap £33 so you can dip your toe into the bloomery trouser trend without dipping into your savings.

Turel Jump by Antik Batik

TurelJump-AntikBatik.jpg Ah.. the jumpsuit. Has anyone tried one on and bought it?

I tried an '80s style jumpsuit on from a second-hand store mid last year, and while it did actually look okay, I don’t think I was "fierce" enough to wear it on my daily travels so I didn't buy it. I do like to see people give the pant suit trend a go and pull it off though.

I love the colours on this Turel jumpsuit by Antik Batik. Known for their prints, the colour block print gives it a nice modern feel.

I don’t know if you would wear this out and about, but I think it would look great as a beach cover-up, with the wide leg pant flowing around you as you walked. Just add a nice wide belt and some bangles and you’re set.

Bootheel Trading Co. by Sheryl Crow - a denim collection

SherylCrow78347838.jpg Singer Sheryl Crow is set to launch a Americana/western/folk inspired denim collection this year, June 2008 specifically. Dubbed Bootheel Trading Co. by Sheryl Crow the sometime front row fixture says that she wanted to do a denim collection, because it represented her from her earliest beginnings. “I’ve always been kind of a jeans girl,” she said. As she hails from a Missouri agricultural region, it’s probably no surprise that denim was one of the staples of her wardrobe. "It's well known for cotton farming and God-fearing, good people with a good work ethic," said Crow. "For me it has a lot of meaning."

The 27 piece collection has been inspired by pieces from Crow’s own wardrobe and developed with Crow’s stylist, with retail prices starting at $58 to $62 for bottoms and $24 to $35 for tops.

Outfit Pick: Topshop trousers

trousersoutfittopshoppleat.jpg
Cropped trousers are set to be the surprise hit of the summer, and this time round they're pleated, cuffed and high-waisted. Topshop's mannish pair are crying out to be rolled up and worn with chunky platforms. A coral blouse and gold necklace give an aristocratic feel to the outfit and a vintage-style belt gives a bit of earthiness. A chunky enamel ring is the finishing touch to an sexy yet mannish outfit fit for someone like Anjelica Houston.
