The High Street retailer has taken inspiration from Balenciaga's spring/summer '08 collection, by incorporating strong elements of floral, structured sleeves, high necklines and mini skirts.

With the current weather so changeable, I'm sorely tempted to invest in ASOS.com's two-in-one Mac (£60). The sleeves are actually part of a button-on bolero jacket that fastens on to the sleeveless creation to turn it into a Spring jacket. In beige, it's got a hint of 'flasher' about it when worn as a belted dress, but I have to admit that almost makes me love it more. However, the royal blue (they call it navy but it looks far lighter in pictures) is probably a more practical choice, and the one that's making it onto my wishlist.
After her appearance at the i-D party last night, Agyness Deyn has got us divided over whether the trusty denim jacket is still in vogue. She fronted up to Bistrotheque in east London in a cropped denim jacket, flicked hair and Betsey Johnson prom dress. Earlier, she was spotted in the same jacket worn over a white tiered dress and bright red tights. While some seem to think that it only reinforces her Tatler title as Britain's best dressed, others believe that Agy is suffering from a touch of the Billy Idols. What do you think? Apparently it's going to snow this weekend...whaa-at? I thought it was spring already. Times like these you need a spring coat, which conveys the lightness and airyness of the season but keeps the ruddy cold out at the same time! Boden's knee-length coat fits the bill perfectly, the light colours are very jaunty and the fact it's two-tone tugs on my heartstrings. The zig-zag edging stitch is a nice touch and adds a bit of fresshness to a retro style that might have otherwise looked a little museumy.
If you don't feel like shivering in the cold but you're bored of your thick black winter coat then head over to Boden where you can snap it up for £95.
Wearing a coat needn't mean sacrificing your kooky sense of style, I hate boring coats which probably explains why I have a bulging cupboard filled with about twenty jackets, parkas and coats to cover every possible eventuality.
Lulu & Red's Bryony coat (£120) has a kooky print and an interesting shape but is simple enough to look good with a variety of outfits. The cocoon skirt will go with skinny jeans and minskirts and the belt cinches you in to give a waisted silhouette.
If you look closely you can see the buttons are ladybirds which is an awesomely cute touch.
Blazers are still the ultimate way to really jazz up an outfit. It's definitely time to chuck the slouchy tracksuits (and Uggs!) and embrace the time of the fop. Dandyism rules! For those who can't afford the ever-desirable Balenciaga blazers, and can't find the Peacocks version anymore, head to Primark for a great affordable option. With that essential thick contrast trim, this smart red and blue striped blazer is £15 and in stores now. Tally-ho!
