We loved Penelope Cruz's nude look at Cannes recently, it's a flattering, grown-up look that couldn't be more polished.
It all kicked off when Scarlett Johansson modelled a romantic look for Louis Vuitton, and since then we've been obsessed with anything ruffly, sheer and flouncy. The nude look also goes amazingly well with all those tough items you might have accumulated in the last few years. Topman launch a designer collaboration next week called We ♡ the White Tee, but it's no ordinary design collab.
They've enlisted big names like Henry Holland and Philip Lim as well as getting MAN designers JW Anderson and Christopher Shannon on board to produce a quality collection of innovative tees.
Don't think that it's just for the boys though, because as soon as we spied to collection in April, we knew we had to have the Philip Lim design (pictured above). It's a button-down, pleated confection that will look great worn unbuttoned as a high summer outer layer. We can also see it teamed with a ruffled chiffon skirt for simple take on the romantic look. I'm not sure we can wait till Tuesday!

Our 'We Love What You're Wearing' pick last week drew quite a few commments as you debated the merits of underwear as outerwear.
This isn't the first time we've featured underwear which is meant to be seen (I'm still lusting after La Garçonne's VPL bra!) but today's picks feature more of a vintage slant. Wear the bra tops over t-shirts, they also look great under sheer tops, but you can add a crop top underneath for modesty! Beyoncé isn't afraid to try out new trends, she stepped out of London's Movida nightclub recently in an outfit which ticks a couple of fashion boxes.
The exaggerated-shoulder Balmain jacket is a big hit this season for celebs and there are plenty of lookalikes to choose from on the high street. Beyoncé teamed it with sparkly heels and a controversial item which seems to be finding its way into our hearts... I'm talking about jeggings, at first they seemed like a silly fad but the CQ team are coming to terms with our love for legging/jean hybrid, but what do you think of the outfit? Oooooh, denim shorts... We thought they would be a passing trend, a Daisy Duke kinda fad. For a while, they were in every single magazine, on every single blog, even your neighbour had some. You'd think everyone would get sick of them by now, but au contraire, they have acquired the enviable status of wardrobe staple, or must have if you prefer.
There are so many different shapes of denim shorts now, you can easily find one that will suit your body type. I go for short high waisted ones as they have a vintage feel to them.
