Zara Phillips is really growing into a style icon all of her own. This was no more evident than at a charity poker tournament in Monte Carlo this week. With a glass of champagne in one hand, the royal starlet watched the game like a fixture out of a James Bond film. Dressed in the ever-so regal colour of purple, Zara wore the gorgeous 'Mini Dana' silk purple dress from Temperley London's spring/summer '09 collection. This one-shouldered ruffle affair was shown on the runway with a belt, but clearly can be worn either way. Now, you can dress like a royal too - this dress is for sale at Net-a-porter.com for £650.

Ever since she hit the red carpet on Sunday at the BAFTA Television Awards, Tess Daly left many talking about her gorgeous baby-bump style. The Strictly Come Dancing host, who is seven months pregnant, glowed as she showed off her legs in a midnight blue ruffle-front minidress from 3.1 Philip Lim. I have dug up that dress, that has also been spotted on the likes of Jennifer Morrison and model, Liya Kebede. Pregnant or not, you can own it yourself for £484.47 from Net-a-porter.com.

Whatever happens in her private life Amy Winehouse has a style all of her own. Proving you don't need to follow trends to be stylish, her look has inspired many a photoshoot and she's not without followers of her retro style in the pop world.
A healthy-looking Winehouse was spotted recently shopping in Lipsy's central London store, no doubt to snap up some of the high-impact minidresses she is known for. Lipsy has been under the CQ radar for a good while now, they are as good as any high street store, but you're definitely less likely to come across someone sporting the same outfit as you, unless you bump into la Winehouse herself! See after the jump for full product details.

Who'd have thunk it from Marks and Sparks?! Everyone cooing over the costumes from Mad Men right now, and good old M&S have managed to bring us a fab interpretation of Peggy's gorgeous checked dress for only £45. Sadly it doesn't have the asymmetric buttons or the rolled collar, but you do get the wiggle shape, black check and on-the-knee hemline. Finish the look with pearls, a ponytail and some black courts, and you're all set to take on the boys in advertising!

Seeing this amaaaaazing slice of denim on the Jak & Jil blog this morning had me crossing out all my To-Do diary entries for this weekend and instead slapping in one big new one: DIY.
This should be a fairly easy one if you've got the gear already... Simply rip up a pair of your old jeans (whether you want to bleach them out first, is your prerogative) or find a pair you like (the ones pictured above are £45 from Topshop) and then get busy with your stud gun. The resident Shiny craftsters suggest MacCulloch and Wallis and Kleins as two places you can go to for studs, or they also recommend perusing eBay for some good crafty deals.

Got £1,795 burning a hole in your pocket post payday? If so, I want your job, but also, you may wish to check out Matches, where they've got a selection of that amazing rain-soaked 'Garden Girls' collection from Burberry Prorsum for S/S 2009. This green silk dress - as worn by Agyness Deyn on the catwalk - looks completely different on its own, away from the uber-styled catwalk show with its raincoats and muddy boots. But equally as gorge.
But it is almost £2000, so perhaps we'll wait until the high street bring us a more affordable version?

Not all of us have Stefano Pilati on speed dial, but that doesn't mean we can't emulate Kate Winslet's chic Yves Saint Laurent look, as seen at this year's Golden Globes. Few of us have the kind of events coming up that require full-length satin gowns, but Next (yes, Next!) have come up with a viable - and more practical - alternative. By chopping the hem shorter and adding even more detail to the pleated strapless top, the result is a formal dress that hints at Kate's look without being an all-out copy, and it's yours for £80. All you need to do is add a velvet bow and a sparkly brooch / earring to the waist, and you're done. Sadly we can't help you with the clutch of acting awards...
