Fur Coat's Adventures In Wonderland

alice.jpg

I've never really been one for Alice In Wonderland. Lewis Carroll didn't sell it to me, and Disney certainly didn't. I've always been more of a Grimm's fairytales gal, but even I have to admit that when it comes to fashion, Alice has it owned. Her trippy Wonderland adventures are up there with Harajuku girls and 'nautical' for catwalk inspiration. Danish jeweller Alidra Alic is the latest designer to feel the Alice effect, although her ethereal designs are anything but Disney...

LCF BA Show: CQ picks pt 1

There were some stellar collections at last night's London College of Fashion graduate show. Bearing in mind that BA studies are but the first step towards a career in fashion the quality of ideas and craftsmanship was great. Some recurring themes we noticed were '60s style shifts, space age influences and hooray! There's still a ton of coral. Phew.

Here is part one of our pick of the collections, from Bahar Alipour, Nelian Fuenmayor and Alex Rosenwald. Stay tuned for part two!

Big is beautiful: bras for the larger-chested lady

Smaller busted women can often forget what a (literal) burden it can be to have big boobs, especially when shopping for underwear. Straps that are either too think or thin, limited choice and ugly designs aren't really something you want to consider if you're a young lady in your prime!

Luckily Kiss and Make Up Editor Zara has stepped in with her top bras for larger-chested ladies. Having an hourglass figure Zara is somewhat of an expert in finding the perfect underwear which doesn't look too matronly. There isn't a typical 'over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder' in sight with this selection of colourful and pretty lingerie.

Leah Weller models student fashion for Graduate Fashion Week

Graduate Fashion Week is almost upon us, we can't wait to see the student collections but for now here is a little sneak preview.

Leah Weller
is modelling a selection of clothes by this year's top graduate designers from around the UK. Snapped by Mary McCartney the clothes are varied but all have something interesting to offer. The nude dress below wouldn't look out of place in our nude trend gallery, and there's a gorgeously simple white jacket, as well an embroidered dress.
