Now here's trouble... Three of our favourite ladies - Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof were all seated together on the front row at Louis Vuitton. As one of the new faces of LV we kind of expected Daisy to be in attendance, and it was good that she could bring a couple of gal pals. I love Alexa's patchwork tweed coat. Pixie also mixed things up with clashing check and striped prints.

Look who we spied on the catwalk at Hermès? Yep, it's our own flame-haired Lily Cole dressed head-to-toe in black leather, bowler hat, handbag and umbrella. Resembling the character of Emma Peel from The Avengers, Lily opened and closed the show that was created by Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Elle's bells - look who has hit the catwalk in Paris! Marc Jacobs rounded up the swimsuit girls, including Elle Macpherson for his A/W 2010 show for Louis Vuitton. The 46-year-old Aussie supermodel was a surprise addition to the line-up who, along with Laetitia Casta and Lara Stone, were applauded for giving us some womanly shape on the runway. Models aside, Jacobs took a few cues from the popularity of Mad Men, presenting Fifties tweed and wool skirt suits which nipped in at the waist and blossomed out at the skirt. The iconic Vuitton Speedy bag, originally called the Express, was also given a revival. Click through to see more...
It seems appropriate that in his final collection, Alexander McQueen - a master craftsman of fashion design - paid tribute to the Old Masters of fine art. His inspirations ranged from ranged from Byzantine art to the carvings of Grinling Gibbons, and each piece was as breathtaking as the one before it. Intricate brocades, billowing capes, ornate gold leaves, and religious symbolism all featured in what was an emotional moment for many. Presentation of his post-humorous Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection was held in private showings in Paris out of respect for the late designer, who took his own life last month. "Each piece is unique, as was he," said the show notes, in what was a sad yet also fitting finale for McQueen. Click play on video above to watch a slide show of images from the collection.
Karl Lagerfeld's A/W 2010-11 collection for Chanel had me instantly singing Britney's "Let me break the ice". Putting things on cool, the French designer gave us the chills with his arctic-inspired show. This time it wasn't hay bales that the models were asked to walk around, but rather a 265-ton iceberg he had imported from Sweden. The huge block of ice was the perfect setting for his fuzzy coats, knit dresses, tweed fur-lined suits, and shaggy polar bear boots.
Clean lines, strong silohettes, that was the basis of Stella McCartney's Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection. Kicking off her show was a voice recording parody of Tiger Woods' phone call to his mistress, from there it was all about sharp tailoring with minimal if no embellishment or fuss. There was Sixties-style shift dresses, swing coats and shiny cropped trousers. And for the evening, Stella went back to her penchant for sexiness with one-shouldered mini dresses that were draped in organza.
It was another case of giddy up for John Galliano's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection for Christian Dior. The designer revisited his 18th century equestrian theme that he used in his Dior's couture collection, complete with jodhpurs, tweed, long leather boots, georgette dresses, riding coats and baker boy caps. Check out more images of the collection, plus a runway video, after the jump...
