Some are loving it and some are despising it. So who better to ask than you guys! Sharon Stone made quite the entrance at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's "An Enduring Vision" benefit in New York City on Monday. The actress threw the fashion rule book away by fronting up in a sheer black lace fishtail Christian Dior couture gown which she matched with a black leather trench, long gloves and a fedora hat. Perhaps she was going for the gangster-meets-cabaret singer look? But was it brilliant and ballsy or bizarre and a complete balls-up? Tell us by voting in our Yay or Nay poll below. [Image: PicApp]
No huge surprises here, but Emanuel Ungaro is less than impressed with Lindsay Lohan's involvement in the fashion house labelling the whole thing a "disaster."
"I am furious but I can't do anything about it," raged the designer during a public meeting at the International Film Festival in Estoril on Monday.
"That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls." He also added that he had severed ties with the company which still bears his name.
Although some might genuinely think this of the wacky songstress, I can't think of anyone more suitable to wear Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's autumn/winter 2009-10 collection. While in Germany this weekend, Gaga donned a fuzzy monster-style dress and a cape created from dead Kermits during a TV interview - you can watch that interview after the jump. But it was this complete tent ensemble that has left us most speechless. Has Gaga gone too far this time?
Everyone is talking about this mah-jah fashion blunder that took place on Monday night. Two of the world's biggest divas, Whitney Houston and Madonna, were both snapped at events wearing the very same animal-print Dolce & Gabbana - whoops!
Whitney was in London to promote her highly-anticipated comeback album, I Look To You. While Madge was hanging out with the D&G boys and her own toyboy Jesus Luz in Milan. Either this was a very deliberate ploy by D&G to nab all the headlines, or someone is in lotsa trouble. Who do you think pulled this look off best? Vote below.
By now most of you would have heard or seen Bruno (a.k.a. Sasha Baron Cohen) and the hilarous stunt he pulled on Eminem at the MTV Movie Awards - if you haven't then click here. Well, now it seems that Bruno has committed the worst possible fashion crime of all - wearing the same outfit twice *gasp* The flamboyant Austrian style reporter was dressed to kill in a leopard print T-shirt, cap and underwear ensemble (is that Roberto Cavalli I spy?) which he has now worn to both the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards and the MTV Movie Awards. Tut-tut! Although perhaps the real faux pas is matching your T-shirt with your pants in the first place. Ahh... you gotta love him.
Boldly going where no ex-WAG (or anyone else) has gone before was Claire Merry overnight. The former wife of Barcelona footballer, Thierry Henry, fronted up to the London premiere of Star Trek, looking like one of the movie's extras in this silver and black Pam Hogg catsuit. And while the model clearly has the bod to pull off such a look, it still left many on the red carpet scratching their heads - after all, she wasn't even in the film. Who knows? Perhaps with Lady Gaga currently in town, Claire felt the need to raise the bar on attention-grabbing garb. Yikes!
We need to talk. All this lime? This 'chartreuse'? This pukey green that doesn't suit anyone I've ever met? It has to go. It's not fair. The shoes I can just about deal with, because they can at least be matched with black tights. But the rest? It just looks s**t on everyone. See Petra Nemcova, Leighton Meester...even Ziyi Zhang is pushing it. If those beautiful girls can't really pull off the shade, how the hell are we supposed to?
