Congratulations to Louise Goldin, who has scooped the British Fashion Council's Fashion Forward fund. She is the only recipient of the sponsorship scheme, which has previously been shared amongst Christopher Kane, Erdem and Marios Schwab.
Things continue to go from strength-to-strength for Goldin, who recently unveiled her first shoe collection for Topshop.
Louise was chosen from a panel including the BFC's Simon Ward, Sarah Mower of STYLE.COM, Liberty's Ed Burstell and Vogue's market editor Emma Elwick. She beat out fellow designers Basso & Brooke, Emilio de la Morena, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Osman and Todd Lynn.
The win will not only assist Goldin with putting together her show for London Fashion Week, but will also offer support in terms of business and mentoring.

She sat front row at the Pringle of Scotland men's show in Milan earlier this week, and now here's a look at Tilda Swinton's new ads for the label.
The British actress stars in Pringle's Spring/Summer 2010 campaign as photographed by Ryan McGinley. Beautifully captured in the rugged terrain of Scotland's highlands, McGinley also shot the Academy Award winner for a short film. "Pringle's my mother's milk. It's what we grow up with," she said. After four years as the face of Longchamp, it seems the next natural step for Kate Moss was to design for the brand. And that is exactly what has happened! The supermodel has showed off her latest handbag collection exclusively for Vogue Paris. The Kate Moss for Longchamp line is set to be unveiled on January 27th Jan. during Paris Couture Week, and will hit stores February 11th.
"The emerald green pochette, whose color I love, I wanted to be very simple, based on the shape of an envelope. I would wear it with all black or all navy. Because I love to wear dove grey, I wanted a bag in that color to go with my grey jeans. he zebra was inspired by an old pony printed valise from the '70s that my boyfriend [Jamie Hince] brought back from San Francisco," she said.

Like many of you, when I first heard that Sarah Jessica Parker was going to be stepping into a "creative" role at Halston I was skeptical (blame Lindsay Lohan, everyone else has!) However it seems the Sex and the City star is pretty serious about her new gig, revealing more about her involvement with the label.
"I tend not to just endorse something," Parker told WWD. "I like feeling the stakes."
It is unclear if SJP poured any of her own money into the label, however WWD is reporting that her role will be president and chief creative officer of Halston Heritage, the label's secondary line.

Here is one starlet who we have long suspected will design her own line but hasn't... up until now.
Alexa Chung's US television dreams may have hit the pause button, but clearly the Americans love her sense of style. She has just signed a contract to collaborate with J.Crew's Madewell brand. The team-up marks J.Crew's first celebrity partnership, and it seems rather perfect with Madewell known for its downtown casual flavour and Alexa known for being... well, cool.
According to the lady herself, she "love[s] how their vibe is a mix of vintage and new - it completely clicked with me." As for other brands approaching her for a collection, she says: "I was being offered so many collaborations for a long time, but I held off. I thought it would be quite a 'sellout' thing to do."
