Rumour mill: Lily Allen rowing with sister over fashion project

Lily Allen Could Lily Allen's much-anticipated clothing label be doomed before it starts? Reports are circulating that the popstrel is rowing with her half-sister, Sarah Owen, who is working on the fashion project with her.

Whispers are that the pair have been arguing over how best to promote their business, Lucy in Disguise.

"The friendship has gone through fits and starts but since Sarah spoke about Lily it has got even worse," a source revealed. "There have been other issues over how much press they do together and how high-profile they make the project. Lily wants to keep the project low-key rather than turn it into a big celebrity thing but Sarah seems to have other ideas. It's causing big problems."

Kate Moss and William Tempest team up for Sport Relief

katemoss_williamtempest_sportrelief.jpgFollowing her support of Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief fashion show, Kate Moss is now getting behind another worthy cause.

The supermodel has teamed up with William Tempest for Sport Relief - a charity to help save children from Malaria. Tempest has designed a dress made from recycled mosquito nets which has been modelled by Moss, and will be auctioned off. The message they're trying to send is that just a £5 donation will buy a malaria net to protect those at risk from the disease.

"I was shocked to hear that one child dies from malaria every 30 seconds," Moss said. "The dress incorporates recycled malaria nets and is absolutely gorgeous, I loved wearing it and it's a great way to raise awareness."

John Galliano to replace Donatella Versace at Fashion Fringe

Christian Dior's Spring Summer 2010 Haute Couture fashion show - Paris

Who better to judge the next generation of brilliant British designers than a brilliant Brit like John Galliano?

The creative director at Christian Dior will step into the shoes of Donatella Versace and become honorary chairperson of Fashion Fringe for the next two years. And he's pretty certain about what he is looking for as well...

"I am hoping we find a rebel genius. I will look for someone who reminds me of me when I was starting out - someone original, unique, who has their own style and handwriting and isn't afraid to try something new. Fashion sometimes gets scared and plays it too safe - but I want to push boundaries," he said.

Applications for Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden are now open until 30th April. Visit: www.fashionfringe.co.uk
