I never thought I'd see the day when an upmarket department store would go on tour... how very rock 'n' roll! Nevertheless, Harvery Nichols has done just that to celebrate the opening of its fourth floor space. The 'Harvey Nichols Hub' hit the ground yesterday at Hanover Square, where Daisy Lowe, Jaime Winstone and Amber Le Bon, enjoyed the fairground-style atmosphere. Visitors can get themselves a free tote bag, a temporary tattoo, purchase products through the vending machines or have their pic taken at the glitter-encrusted photo booth. There is also a chance to win a Harvey Nicks shopping spree - click here for more details. Check out the Hub at these locations:
19 March, SouthBank Centre, 10am - 7pm
20 March, Notting Hill, Westbourne Grove, 10am - 5pm
21 March, Spitalfield Market, 10am - 5pm
Sure, when I first heard that Liam Gallagher was launching a clothing label for boys I wasn't particularly interested. But now that his label, Pretty Green, is expanding to include womenswear, well let's just say that I might be a teeny bit curious.
The Oasis frontman said that "a lot of girls are asking if we will be doing a range for them and the answer to that is yes, once we have got rid of all the lads' stuff."
Gallagher also revealed he would like to launch a range of accessories for men, and that he is proud of his label.
"Its success does surprise me considering I've got something to do with it - there are a lot of people who try to kill things before they even become alive."
While rumours of his departure from Chanel were just that... rumours, Karl Lagerfeld has been confirmed to design a capsule line for Hogans.
The collaboration consists of a one-off collection which will be revealed in spring 2011 and hit stores in November.
"Karl is a genius of style and an artist who interprets fashion in a modern way," said Hogans CEO, Diego Della Valle. "For Hogan, he will reinterpret all the iconic elements in both apparel and accessories, which will help raise Hogan's visibility in Asia and especially in China."
UPDATE: Another special accolade will be awarded to
Alexander McQueen. He will recieve the CFDA's board of directors honour at the ceremony held on June 7.

It is a busy time for lad-about-town Henry Holland. The designer officially launched his H! collection at Debenhams on Wednesday morning, where fans queued up from 7.30am to get their hands on a signed Bagazine clutch. His debut range is modelled by pal Pixie Geldof.
Speaking of models, another close friend of Holland's, Leigh Lezark, is the face of his latest spring/summer 2010 Levi's collection. Lezark features in the line's lookbook, which was photographed by Matt Irwin, it also stars British male model, Jacob Coupe. See more after the jump....

Today marks what would have been Alexander McQueen's 41st birthday. In memory and celebration of his life, some of his friends and fellow designers have been leaving their tributes...
Francisco Costa - Creative Director, Calvin Klein Women's Collection: "Lee always managed to make the unobtainable a reality. He set the bar high and his genius will continue to live with us."
Zac Posen: "The first I met McQueen was when I was an intern at the Met. He was there to research and he smelled me. I was standing over vertical files, and he smelled my jacket. I must have been 17-years-old. He asked if the jacket was from London. It was. I probably skipped a Science class to be there."

Chanel has been forced to issue another statement denying that Karl Lagerfeld will soon be replaced by Alber Elbaz at the helm. During Paris Fashion Week, Jak & Jil blogger Tommy Ton heard that the Lanvin designer could be taking over from Lagerfeld, but this was promptly rectified by the label in a statement.
"Karl Lagerfeld is the creative designer of Chanel and has a long-term contract with the company. Replacing him is not an issue," it read.
Ton has since responded to the news by tweeting: "Guessing game is over. My source and I are the victim of a good prank played by Mr. [Riccardo] Tisci himself. He got us good :("
