Has Twilight's Kristen Stewart taken the subject of vampires too far? That's what we want to know with our special Oscars reader poll. The young actress attended the awards ceremony, along with co-star Taylor Lautner, in this strapless inky blue strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier. Kristen kept things ultra-simple wearing little jewellery, except a bracelet and sporting a sophisticated swept up hairstyle. Was it a yay or nay for you? Tell us by voting below.
OSCAR NIGHT IN LONDON - http://blog.greygoose.com/index.php/2010/03/oscar-night-in-london/
Following on from our red carpet coverage of the Oscars, I thought it would be fun to hear from you guys on what you thought. So far, many have been split over Charlize Theron's look. The stunning actress chose this contrasting dusty pink fishtail gown from Christian Dior, which featured rosebud-style applique on the bust. Was it a good or bad choice for her? Tell us by casting your vote in our reader poll below.
Here at CQ we're all for taking a fashion risk every now and again. But I'm feeling a bit undecided about Lily Cole's long boot/suit ensemble, which she donned to the New York premiere of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus this week. The British model drew attention to those long legs of hers in a Jean Paul Gaultier brown pinstripe shorts and blazer suit with matching thigh-high boots. Although I applaud her for covering up her top-half with a white pussybow blouse - no tacky cleavage here folks! I turn this one over to you... is this a yay or nay for Lils? Vote below.
Whitney Port showed her support to her Hills co-star as she attended the LC Lauren Conrad Clothes Launch Party in Hollywood recently.
Leather is a big trend this season and there's no denying Whitney's got it nailed. Shorts are tricky at the best of times but bare legs and a loose top give this look a insouciance which is hard to beat. A new series of The City has already started in the US and we can't wait to see more fab fashion from the Manhattan It girls.
Would you try this trend? Take our poll and let us know!
Jil Sander launches her '+J' collection for Uniqlo this Thursday. This is her first range as Uniqlo's Creative Director, a position which she accepted earlier this year.
The German designer's minimal, simple designs were the staple of many a '90s wardrobe but Sander bowed out of her label in 2004 after differences with the label's owner and Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli.
The +J collection is a mammoth range, comprising 40 menswear pieces and 100 womenswear pieces. Sander has overseen the creation of knitwear, denim and outerwear for the label but the label has kept a tight lid on the designs.
Will you be buying pieces from the +J collection? Take our poll and let us know!
Everyone is talking about this mah-jah fashion blunder that took place on Monday night. Two of the world's biggest divas, Whitney Houston and Madonna, were both snapped at events wearing the very same animal-print Dolce & Gabbana - whoops!
Whitney was in London to promote her highly-anticipated comeback album, I Look To You. While Madge was hanging out with the D&G boys and her own toyboy Jesus Luz in Milan. Either this was a very deliberate ploy by D&G to nab all the headlines, or someone is in lotsa trouble. Who do you think pulled this look off best? Vote below.
Evans have made a first by dropping their smallest size to a 14, a normal size by most people's measurements. This move serves not only to remove the stigma of going into a shop which stocks larger sizes it also means they are looking to appeal to a wide (sorry!) choice of women. Ditto's collection isn't short on style, I recently spoke to Evans' head of design, Lisa Marie Patrick who explained how committed and passionate Beth was in terms of her collection for the brand. This isn't the first high-trend collaboration for Evans, shoe designer Georgina Goodman lent her skills to their footwear collections for a few years.
What do you think, will Beth Ditto's collection get you shopping in Evans? Take our poll and let us know!
