Bat For Lashes is known as much for her music as she is for distinctive style. Who better to ask ahead of this year's Glastonbury Festival for tips on festival dressing? We spoke to Natasha Khan about her new album 'Two Suns', the character 'Pearl' and how to move on from something as iconic as the gold headband.
Isabelle: Your second album seemed a bit lonelier then the first one - was that because you were a bit lonelier? You were in New York at the time, weren't you?
BFL: I recorded it all over in New York and back in England and in Wales, kind of moving all over so I guess there was a sense of isolation. Searching for the comfort of home I suppose, and I kept sort of drifting between places. I think the only common denominator was me and my songs, so I think there is sense of loneliness; it was quite a lonely time.

In Sook Park is the last of our GFW graduate previews, a Fashion Design student from UCCA Epsom she let us in on her students days and her plans for the future.
What was the best bit about the student experience?
I had two best bits, the first was just learning how to apply my ideas to making real garments and being able to see my designs as finished articles. The second was getting the chance to appear at GFW. Being selected for the catwalk show was the happiest and most satisfying part of the student experience.

Only a couple of days till Graduate Fashion Week, and we're already checking which universities to go see. Georgina Langford studied Fashion Journalism at UCCA Epsom, and she filled us in on student life, her course and her future projects...
What was the best bit about the student experience?
Making three close friends who each have different fashion expertise - it is great having a make-up specialist, party planner and stylista on call (apart from when you are trying to get ready for a night out, that takes about four hours). From an academic point of view, having tutors who were industry professionals was inspiring and informative.

Daniel Pollitt's final designs
GFW is less than a week away, so we decided to give you a sneak preview of some of the students who will be graduating this year. Daniel Pollitt is a Fashion Design student at Manchester Metropolitan University, he talked to us a bit about being a student and gave us an idea of what to expect from his graduate collection.
What was the best bit about the student experience?
I think for me the best part of the student experience was constantly keeping busy. I like being busy and hate that empty feeling that comes around when everything is done and finished.
Did you take any work experience/placements?
I completed some work experience at Roland Mouret this summer . I really enjoyed the whole experience.

Girls Aloud onstage, taken during their tour last year.

How did you start your career, and who else have you styled?
I have always wanted to be a stylist, initially I was drawn to the magazine styling side of things as this was the only thing available to me growing up in Blackpool and where I drew all my inspiration from- I-D, Dazed and Confused and Vogue were like style bibles to me and always wanted to be part of that scene.

Girls Aloud at the Brits accepting their award earlier this year
Girls Aloud have teamed up with Kit Kat Senses and their stylist Frank Strachan to offer a £1000 shopping spree. To celebrate we spoke to Frankabout fashion, celebs and tips. We also gave a call for questions on our CQ Twitter, so if you sent us a query read on!
How long have you been styling GA and in what way have they become more fashion savvy?
I have been one of the stylists for Girls Aloud for the past 3 years now. They have been in the band now for such a long time and during this period have grown as people so much. All women's sense of style grows over time, they are more conscious about what to wear, what makes them feel and look good and as a result become more confident as people. In a sense they have become more fashion savvy but this has evolved with age, confidence and an understanding of themselves.
