Daisy Lowe models her mother's party frocks for Peacocks

daisylowe_pearllowe_peacocks_1.jpg

For the festive season it's all about the frocks at Peacocks. And the budget retailer has enlisted the help of Pearl Lowe to design its new range and her daughter Daisy to model it. Talk about a fash-family combo! While we're used to seeing Daisy modelling for labels such as Marc Jacobs, it's on the high street in her mum's Christmas collection that she'll soon be recognised the most. Lucky for her there isn't a reindeer jumper in sight!

Dolce & Gabbana spread a little Christmas cheer via their online mag Swide.com

dolcegabbana_xmasspirit_swide.jpg

Dolce & Gabbana's online magazine, Swide.com, officially went live last week although apparently it has been lurking around since September. It's a mish-mash of articles, blogs, and features a blend of contemporary artists and celebrities such as Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. But the highlight right now has to be a Christmas video of the designer duo as elves singing carols. Click here and instantly get into the festive mood.

Matthew Williamson for less at Yoox.com

mw_yoox.jpgAll this online window shopping so close to Christmas is not good. It's too late to rewrite my wishlist now, so why am I suddenly discovering amazing things?

Not only do Yoox.com have a really good stock of cut-price Matthew Williamson, they have it in my size. There are loads of pieces on offer, most in larger sizes (when I say 'larger' I mean 12 - 16). Of course, it's all still £300+, but this is the only time of year most of us can dream of that kind of indulgence.

So Santa, if you're listening, this rather lovely one shoulder dress would be fab!

Still Christmas shopping? Head to Uniqlo.

uniqlo_knitwear.jpg

Hands up who left their Christmas shopping until this week, then? Tut tut, kids! If you've still not bought all your pressies, I have one word for those hard-to-shop-for cool kids and 'classic' fans; Uniqlo. Their knitwear section is perfect for Christmas treats, from cashmere sweaters in beautiful colours to funky fairisle pieces that make an ironic nod to the Christmas jumper you inevitably got as a kid (anyone remember Sweater Shop?). I'm thinking the stole cardigan for mum, the hooded sweater for the brother's girlfriend, and perhaps some cashmere for...er, me?

The last Christmas posting day has been and gone, so here's the store list instead.

party_dress_to100.jpg

It's time for all of us to breathe a big sigh of relief, as this post marks the end of the rundown of 100 cheap party dresses for Christmas. If you've still not a) had your party or b) bought the perfect frock, there are 30 posts and 100 dresses for you to choose from in our archive. The final three come from the sales on the high street, meaning you should be able to nab them instore today if you've got a last minute festive bash to attend (or if you just fancy glamming it up on the big day). First up is Warehouse's one-shoulder sequinned number for £35 (down from £90). Then we have Oasis's origami detail tucked bandeau dress down from £80 to £30. Finally, from Julien Macdonald's Star range at Debenhams is a black frilled prom dress down from £80 to £56.

100 Cheap Party Dresses for Christmas #95 - 97: Black and white ball

blackwhite_partydresses.jpg

Friends, the end is nigh. There are only three dresses left in the 100 Cheap Party Dresses rundown, so enjoy these last few while you can. This time, I've gone all monochrome with some edgy black numbers (D.I.P at Topshop's knot dress for £50 and French Connection's long-sleeved 'Yamanda' dress for £34) as well as a lilac and black PPQ for Oli Fusion dress that I couldn't resist since it's reduced to a very purse-friendly £27 in the sale.

Stay tuned for the last three! The excitement is unbearable, isn't it?!

Dita, Chanel and Zanotti show us what they want for Christmas

dita_giftguide.jpg

Net a Porter have got some fabulous fashion faces guest editing their gift guides this year, and I love 'At Home With Dita Von Teese', where the burlesque star gives some tips on looking glamorous 24/7, as well as recommending her favourite indulgences (Roland Mouret, Louboutins and MAC makeup). Even without the wads of cash needed to buy the gifts, it's worth flicking through the guide for some tips. Dita suggests wearing brooches in your hair, Chanel Iman wants world peace, and Giuseppe Zanotti recomments fashion canapes. What's not to love?
