If you've still not found your perfect party dress (come on, I've brought you SIXTY!) then feast your eyes on this baby.
It's from Miss Selfridge, and is a special limited edition item that'll only be available on the website from tomorrow (Dec 12th). Only 100 of the £50 dresses will be available, so that dramatically cuts down on potential 'oops, we wore the same outfit' embarrassment.
The colour is also a nice change from all the black, red and blue we're seeing at the moment. It'll look amazing with just about any skintone and hair colour, which is a minor miracle, and the shape is universally flattering (don't shy away from volume if you're curvaceous, you'll be surprised how well it can work).

These three dresses for £20 or less take us up to 60 in the 100 Cheap Party Dresses rundown. Yes, friends, the end is near (ish). To finish up today's bumper edition I have three dresses from Boohoo.com that'll suit even the tightest of budgets. Fifteen squids will get you the one-shouldered green 'Bella' dress, for £20 you can get the black shoulder-detail 'Alyssa' and at only £12 the strapless satin 'Carrie' will see you through the festive season in very thrifty style.

We're over halfway through the cheap party dresses rundown (thank God!) and today I've done something a little special, with a gallery of celebrity-inspired frocks for around £20 - £60. If you fancy getting the look of Gwyneth Paltrow, Megan Fox, Victoria Beckham, Anna Faris, Eliza Dushku or Ashley Tisdale, look no futher than these cheap chic items. Hurrah! We've finally passed the halfway stage in the 100 Cheap Party Dresses list, which is very good news because I'm running out of dresses under fifty quid! I know I said I'd stick to under £100, but everyone knows proper cheap is below fifty (hell, it's below £20 for a lot of us this year). So here are three frocks for under fifty that will definitely get you noticed at festive parties. Dorothy Perkins' pink tulip dress is a bit of a 'hero' item from their partwear range at £50. If you want something a bit girlier, Oasis have a floral strapless number (again!) for only £44.04 in the sale. Finally, we go a bit edgier with a taffeta dress with a black top from Reko at Topshop for £45. As they say in Funny Face, think pink!
The 100 cheap party dresses feature is still going strong, and we continue with one of the most festive colours - gold - and nine gorgeous frocks ranging from £28 - £75. Click the one below to start the gallery

I'm getting close to the halfway mark on my list of 100 cheap party dresses, and the next three are all one-shouldered frocks for under £50. While we're talking one-shoulder, can we settle the 'off the shoulder' argument once and for all? These babies are not off the shoulder. Since one strap sits on the shoulder, that doesn't really work. These are one-shoulder, and off-the-shoulder looks like this. Now I've cleared that up, these dresses are (l-r) metallic trim black short dress £36.21 at Mango, green one-shoulder chiffon bow dress £14 at Peacocks and silver snake dress with puffball skirt £48 at Miss Selfridge.
Pretty cinched-waist party dresses are all well and good in the run-up to Christmas, but what about after you've consumed half a turkey and your own body weight in Quality Street? That's where dresses like this one come in. The voluminous shape hides a post-indulgence belly, but the colourblocking keeps it looking stylish. In fact, the grey block pattern reminds me of Jonathan Saunders, but at £39.99 from new online boutique MoonSpark, it's a lot more affordable.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can see this being worn over wet-look or sequin leggings if you have the guts to pull off something so faddy. Otherwise pull out those old faithful black opaques or grey wool tights and the coolest, chunkiest grey shoes you can find.
