The Clothes Show London this year has an array of things to draw you in; a beach, the Rimmel stand - basically a big pink teenage girls heaven - and as always, bargains galore. I went along to see what it was like. Read on for my diary.

We all know that a naked photo of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is bound to fetch a fortune at auction, but for how much? That is what many are asking after another black-and-white photo of the supermodel in the buff goes under the hammer in Berlin next month. Taken by US photographer Pamela Hansen in 1994, Carla was just 26, at the height of her modelling career and dating Mick Jagger. But the real question is - will the rolling-between-the-sheets pic surpass the £60,000 paid for her last nude portrait?
Rounding off a week of film premières, celebrity soirées, and lounging on yachts in Cannes was the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Benefit. Hosted this year by Kenneth Cole, it proved to be yet another big hit in raising money for AIDS charities. The event auctioned off lucrative items such as a one-of-a-kind photograph by Steven Meisel of Madonna from the Louis Vuitton campaign, which fetched €30,000. Two bidders also paid €20,000 each to have a rather embarrassed Robert Pattinson kiss their daughters - lucky girls! As for the red carpet fashion, well we've got that covered. It might seem a little unconventional but isn't that just Dame Vivienne Westwood's style?
The fashion guru has been confirmed in Latitude Festival's line-up not to sing, but to read extracts from her Active Resistance to Propaganda manifesto, a collection of essays on how art and culture can solve humanity's problems. She will join famed pop artist, Peter Blake, in the literary arena.
"The important thing about the manifesto is that it is a practice. If you follow it your life will begin to change. In the pursuit of culture you will start to think. If you change your life, you change the world," she said.
Viv will also be answering audience questions. Festival tickets can be purchased from latitudefestival.co.uk

Katy Perry made quite an entrance at the Life Ball on Sunday when she was lowered onstage in a giant shell! The Brit American singer donned a sea-themed dress with shell bustier, the skirt ripped off to reveal her studded, diamanté, hotpantsuit, complete with ornamental starfish. Eva Longoria and Bill Clinton also attended the event, held to help people suffering from HIV and AIDs. As well as Perry, Pamela Anderson strutted her stuff onstage, in a performance with a specially-customised ghetto blaster. Jump through to see more images from the event, including Katy in her marine vessel.
