Diary date: Grace Kelly's wardrobe to go on display at the V&A

gracekelly_dressimages.jpg

Here is a rare opportunity to scope out the wardrobe of a style icon. The Victoria & Albert Museum will soon showcase some of the opulent haute couture designs once worn by Grace Kelly. On display will be dresses from her many films including Rear Window, High Society, and the gown she wore during her first meeting with Prince Rainier of Monaco. The exhibition will be comprised of three sections, the first tracing her years as a Hollywood star, the second will focus on the clothes she wore during her romance with Prince Rainer, and the third will be a retrospective of the outfits she wore for her official royal engagements as Princess Grace.

Grace Kelly: Style Icon, sponsored by Van Cleef & Arpels, will run April 17th-26th September. Victoria & Albert Museum: www.vam.ac.uk

lilycole_soniarykielhm_fashionshow.jpg

The stage was set last night at Paris's Grand Palais for an extravagant show to unveil Sonia Rykiel's new boudoir-inspired line for H&M. Complete with a glittering Eiffel Tower, ferris wheel, swing set and cut-out trees strung with thousands of fairy lights, it was a magical night for the iconic designer and the Swedish retailer.

Leading the charge was Lily Cole, who held the reins of a giant moving horse head. While mannequins were dressed in Rykiel's knitwear (not due out until Spring) and rode the ferris wheel. Looking on were Kate Bosworth, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Philippe Starck and Eva Herzigova. Oh, how we *heart* Paris and Rykiel!

The Scene: Kate Moss boogies at Take That's SingStar event

katemoss_singstarevent.jpgKate Moss let loose on the dance floor once again last night when she attended a SingStar karaoke event hosted by Take That.

The supermodel showed off her moves (right) in front of a star-studded room comprising of Pixie Geldof, Rachel Stevens, Jenny Frost and Dionne Bromfield.

Wearing a black top and leather skirt ensemble, Kate busted out some Thriller-style zombie dance steps as pal Pixie cheered on. While Take That took to the microphone to belt out tunes at the Tabernacle nightspot in Notting Hill. The event was delayed a month out of respect to Gary Barlow, whose father died suddenly from a heart attack last month.

Stella McCartney switches on Christmas lights; *isn't* working with Leona Lewis

Stella McCartney Switches On Store Christmas LightsJust as I suspected, there will be no Leona Lewis/Stella McCartney collaboration (boo!). While at the annual switching on of her store's Christmas Lights, the designer told Grazia that it's not true.

"'I've never heard anything about it - it's news to me!" she admitted.

Stella was sandwiched between two of our favourite funny men Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt of Mighty Boosh. The pair were dressed in drag as they helped the designer turn on the lights at her flagship Bruton Street store. Some of the other famous faces to stop by included Twiggy, Louise Redknapp and Carly Lawson.
