Showing their support of Natalia Vodianova's Love Ball last night was a long line of mega-stars including Kate Moss, Stella McCartney and Liz Hurley. The Russian supermodel hosted the event in conjunction with Harper's Bazaar and De Beers as a fundraiser for her charity the Naked Heart Foundation, which aims to provide playgrounds Russia's children.
Our friends over at OSOYOU were lucky enough to attend Monday night's glittery Elle Style Awards. It was a celeb-studded night which attracted the likes of the Minogue sisters and the Olsen twins. Supermodels reunited to honour their friend Alexander McQueen at the Fashion for Relief London show last night. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and McQueen muse, Annabelle Neilson, hit the catwalk to pay tribute to the late designer as well as raise funds for Campbell's Haiti charity.
There was plenty of stars including Geri Halliwell, Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh and Dame Shirley Bassey. Drawing a huge round of applause was Denise Van Outen, who was reportedly axed from Andrew Lloyd Webber's new BBC show because she is pregnant. But the biggest cheers were left for newly-engaged David Walliams and Gavin & Stacey star James Corden who decided to stop at the end of the runway for a bit of a snog.
Continuing the promotion of her brand new collection of handbags for Longchamp was Kate Moss yesterday. The supermodel made a rare appearance at Selfridges, which was her first public outing since the news of Alexander McQueen's passing.
The event was toned-down from the original party which was planned for last night as a mark of respect. She arrived at the launch wearing a black furry coat, skinny jeans and toting a couple of her bags - a red leather and zebra-print designs. There was a sombre moment of remembrance during Friday night's Fashion for Relief show. Paying tribute to her friend Alexander McQueen,Naomi Campbell dedicated the finale of her charity show to his recent passing. Joined by Helena Christensen, Karen Elson, Daphne Guinness and other famous models, Campbell paused to commemorate McQueen's work by wearing his designs (above). Afterwards, she walked backstage holding hands with Angela Lindvall with tears in her eyes.
Whoops! Proving it can happened to even the most seasoned of models, Agyness Deyn took not one, but two falls during the Fashion for Relief runway show on Friday night. The British model toppled over during Naomi Campbell's celebrity catwalk show for Haiti (more coming up soon). Agy took a tumble, started laughing before getting up only to crash out for a second time, prompting her to kick off her giant Burberry platforms and go barefoot.
"1st show of fashion week! Took a tumble! Got up! Fell again. Should have stayed down the 1st time. Twice! WTF! Ouch my knees!" she tweeted afterwards.
Chanel's number one girl-of-the-moment, Vanessa Paradis, was the belle of the ball at a special dinner held by the label in her honour. Attracting a plethora of it-girls including Kate Bosworth and Margherita Missoni, the bash also brought out the models such as Anouck Lepere, Heidi Mount and Irina Lazareanu.
