Liam Gallagher to expand his Pretty Green label to womenswear

liamgallagher_prettygreen_expansion.jpgSure, when I first heard that Liam Gallagher was launching a clothing label for boys I wasn't particularly interested. But now that his label, Pretty Green, is expanding to include womenswear, well let's just say that I might be a teeny bit curious.

The Oasis frontman said that "a lot of girls are asking if we will be doing a range for them and the answer to that is yes, once we have got rid of all the lads' stuff."

Gallagher also revealed he would like to launch a range of accessories for men, and that he is proud of his label.

"Its success does surprise me considering I've got something to do with it - there are a lot of people who try to kill things before they even become alive."

Lauren Conrad unveils fashion line for Kohl's

lc_kohls_lookbookpic.jpgIt seems quitting The Hills has worked out better for Lauren Conrad (LC) than most of us had expected. While Heidi Montag continues her scary transformation into Barbie, LC has kept herself busy penning books, as well as designing a new fashion line for Kohl's.

Now she has unveiled the range, and I must admit it ain't half-bad. In the line's new spring 2010 lookbook, modelled by LC, there are plenty of light, breezy feminine pieces to choose from. These include floral print dresses,

"It is a California chic line," she said. "It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere."

Click on to see a video of LC talking through her new line...

Rumour mill: Lily Allen rowing with sister over fashion project

Lily Allen Could Lily Allen's much-anticipated clothing label be doomed before it starts? Reports are circulating that the popstrel is rowing with her half-sister, Sarah Owen, who is working on the fashion project with her.

Whispers are that the pair have been arguing over how best to promote their business, Lucy in Disguise.

"The friendship has gone through fits and starts but since Sarah spoke about Lily it has got even worse," a source revealed. "There have been other issues over how much press they do together and how high-profile they make the project. Lily wants to keep the project low-key rather than turn it into a big celebrity thing but Sarah seems to have other ideas. It's causing big problems."

CQ First: Madonna unveils eyewear line for Dolce & Gabbana

madonna_eyewear_dolcegabbana.jpg

Hot on the heels of the news of her deal with Iconix Brand Group Inc. for a series of fashion projects, comes the eyewear line that Madonna has co-designed with Dolce & Gabbana. As a close friend of the Italian duo, Madge is great snag for the label, helping them to create six pairs of sunglasses featuring the MDG logo.

"We're so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us," said Stefano Gabbana. The collection is due to go on sale in May.

Red carpet watch: Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning at 'The Runaways' premiere, LA

'The Runaways' Los Angeles Premiere

Two of our favourite young starlets, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart, hit the red carpet together for the LA premiere of The Runaways. The biopic based on the name of the 1970s all-girl rock band, sees Dakota play the role of Cherie Currie and Kristen portray a young Joan Jett. The girls glammed it up for the film's premiere with Dakota wearing a glitzy metallic Valentino couture mini dress, while Kristen added a splash of colour in a bright pink Doo.Ri frock which featured sheer panels. Whose look do you like the most?

Paris FROW Watch: Look who was at Louis Vuitton...

Louis Vuitton - PFW - Ready To Wear - Fall/Winter 2011 - Front Row

Now here's trouble... Three of our favourite ladies - Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof were all seated together on the front row at Louis Vuitton. As one of the new faces of LV we kind of expected Daisy to be in attendance, and it was good that she could bring a couple of gal pals. I love Alexa's patchwork tweed coat. Pixie also mixed things up with clashing check and striped prints.

Click here for our report from the Louis Vuitton A/W 2010-11 show.

amywinehouse_fredperry_sketches1.jpg

It may have been a while between drinks (excuse the pun!) but Amy Winehouse is definitely teaming up with Fred Perry to create a fashion line. We first heard rumours of a collaboration waaay back in January last year, and now some sketches from her forthcoming collection have come to light. Of course, Fred Perry is no stranger to working with musicians, the street label has also collaborated with Paul Weller and Damon Albarn.
