Two of the belles from last night's National Television Awards was long-time style rivals Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. The X Factor judges celebrated their win for Most Popular Television Show by glamming up the red carpet with two completely different looks. For her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy, Dannii covered up the bump in a black-and-white striped strapless prom dress and bright red heels. While Cheryl went in a different direction by choosing this elegant soft grey floor-length chiffon gown designed by Stéphane Rolland. Lovely dress, however I'm not too keen on the matching wrist cuffs... how about you?

It's a happy day when a major A-lister dons one of your designs - just ask Erdem. The label hit the red carpet on the body of Ashley Olsen at the Golden Globes after-party. The fashionista wore a bright blue satin dress with appliqué sleeves and top section.
"I'm so excited that she wore it," Erdem Moralioglu said. "It really suited her." While at the party Ashley confirmed that she and her sister Mary-Kate will stage a presentation of their label The Row during New York Fashion Week next month for the first time.
Yay for Blake Lively who went against the usual red carpet frock look for the book launch of Gossip Girl's costume designer Eric Daman on Tuesday night. The young starlet donned a pair of thigh-high laser-cut boots from Stella McCartney's autumn/winter 2009-10 collection. And with stems like hers - why wouldn't you give them a try? She teamed the $1600 perforated boots with a tuxedo jacket, white shirt and just a hint of a black bra. Cool, casual yet also smart, and a great choice for Blake. What do you think of her outfit?

It was another frock-fest at the New York première of Nine this week. The starlets hit the red carpet in their finest, with all eyes on Nicole Kidman and not her pretty Prada dress but rather her unfortunate make-up mishap - yikes! Meanwhile, Penelope Cruz was a Grecian goddess in Chanel red satin and Marion Cotillard played it safe in a white strapless Dior gown.

London was buzzing last night with the world premiere of Nine. With a star-studded cast, it was as though the Oscars had come to town - including the the designer gowns! Kate Hudson led the charge in a white carefully-constructed strapless dress by Atelier Versace. It was great to see her play up her cheeky side by showing a bit of leg. Penelope Cruz also pulled one out of the bag in a stunning Ralph Lauren lavender beaded gown with ruffled hem. But it was Nicole Kidman that really missed her mark. The Aussie actress failed to inspire in a rather mumsy white skirt suit (what's with Nic and white/cream?). At least she got it right with the shoes - a pair of nude-brown Azzedine Alaia heels.

The stage was set last night at Paris's Grand Palais for an extravagant show to unveil Sonia Rykiel's new boudoir-inspired line for H&M. Complete with a glittering Eiffel Tower, ferris wheel, swing set and cut-out trees strung with thousands of fairy lights, it was a magical night for the iconic designer and the Swedish retailer.
Leading the charge was Lily Cole, who held the reins of a giant moving horse head. While mannequins were dressed in Rykiel's knitwear (not due out until Spring) and rode the ferris wheel. Looking on were Kate Bosworth, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Philippe Starck and Eva Herzigova. Oh, how we *heart* Paris and Rykiel!
