Even at the ripe age of 40 there appears to be no stopping Helena Christensen. Although usually found behind a camera these days, Helena proves that old habits die hard by modelling in the autumn/winter campaign for Swedish label, Odd Molly.
It marks the latest in a string of campaigns for the former supermodel, who has recently fronted ads for Agent Provocateur, Tommy Hilfiger and Monsoon.
The models are hard at work right now, including some of our most seasoned supermodels. Claudia Schiffer and Karl Lagerfeld were recently spotted in Buenos Aires, shooting the Chanel Spring 2010 ad campaign. Shiffer is meant to be joined by Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi for the ads, but there was no sign of them.
As we reported back in March, the dynamic duo behind PPQ have collaborated with Adidas on a sportswear range for A/W 2009-10. Now here is your first look at the collection, as photographed by Rankin. It features boxing-inspired pieces in contrasting black-and-white, including stirrup pants, long boots, mittens and thermal fleece.
"We are not scared of simple classics, and this is what we have offered in this collection. Hybrid sportswear has been about through history, The fabrics may have evolved but I don't really think it's any more trendy now than it was 10 years ago," PPQ's Amy Molyneaux said. I wonder if we'll see Peaches Geldof getting about in stirrup pants this season?
O-kay... this is one out of the bag. Grazia is reporting that we could soon be seeing Madonna in the next Dolce & Gabbana campaign. So? You may ask. Well, it'll be for the label's menswear division. I know, right!
It may seem a bit out of left field, but it's no secret that Madge and the D&G lads are pretty tight. So much so that I'm sure she's already forgiven them for this embarrassing faux pas involving Whitney Houston.
Plus, we all know how much the Princess of Pop loves to push the androgynous envelope with her style. But following her stint for Louis Vuitton, could Madonna really soon be modelling menswear? Or, could she simply be starring alongside her model squeeze Jesus Luz. It's certainly food for thought.
Move over Kate Moss and Lily Cole and make way for the new faces of Rimmel London. Georgia Jagger, daughter of former supermodel Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, and Canada's Coco Rocha have been named as the latest ambassadors for the cosmetics giant.
"I am thrilled to be the new face of Rimmel and to be representing such a fantastic brand," said Georgia, who recently bagged herself a Vogue cover and contract with Hudson Jeans.
We may not exactly equate Autumn with the beach in Britain, but this is where COS choose to shoot its A/W 2009 campaign. H&M's sister store presents black and white sophisticated separates for next season. While the prices are a little more exxy than H&M, you will certainly get more return for your money in quality and cut. Click play on the video above to watch behind-the-scenes footage of COS's next collection.
We should have known something was up when Megan Fox appeared on the front row next to Cate Blanchett at the Armani Prive couture show in July.
Now it has been confirmed that the Transformers star is Giorgio Armani's newest recruit. Following in the footsteps of the Beckhams, Fox will front the ad campaigns for Emporio Armani Underwear, as well as Armani Jeans. She has been picked, along with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo who will represent men's Emporio Armani Underwear, to be the label's new ambassadors.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott last weekend, we will first get to see the ads when they are unveiled in January next year.
With her look-a-like now in, I guess Angelina Jolie is definitely out then?
