Often making into my Dress of the Day slot, Richard Nicoll's timeless and impeccably chic designs are a personal firm favourite, so I was pleased to check out what the London based Australian designer had to offer for Spring / Summer 2014 for the last show to close day two at London Fashion Week.

Well known for his design trademarks, Richard Nicoll, who described his last Spring / Summer 2013 season as "no tricks, down-to-earth, athletic, urban, timeless", didn't swerve from his clean lined and sporty aesthetic. For SS14, the designer presented a mainly monochrome collection with a splash of the season's hit shade, sugar pink, but icey whites in differing textures, measures and patterns of sheer dominated. Shapes took form on his signature sporty silhouette complete with cut away shoulder detailing as well as sculptured and simplistic lines.

Mesh trims and contrast piping added detail on dresses whilst separated were layered up and styled up with that relaxed effortless feel we all know and love from the designer. An injection of newness came in the form of sparkle which lay in the detail of jacquards on dresses. Overall another luxe and want worth collection from the designer, reminding me why he's one of my favourites. Check out the full collection in the video below.
