Rebellious popstrel Rihanna already has one successful collection in the bag for River Island, so why not try for a second? The hotly anticipated campaign imagery from her new Autumn / Winter 2013 collection has just been released. Landing in stores and online in two drops, the first instalment hits in September with one following in November.

Described as being shot with a "New York street vibe" in mind by photographer Lachlan Bailey and styling by Mel Ottenberg, Riri herself creatively directed the shoot first hand. Showcased on girls with attitude, Rihanna's collection sees camo army prints, sporty "RiRi" emblazoned underwear, midi lengths and sculptured shapes.

Rihanna's co-designer co-designer, Adam Selman told Vogue.co.uk, "We had a lot more fun this time round. The first collection was a lot purer, about finding pieces that Rihanna felt were missing from her closet. There is a real concept to this one. I can't give too much away, but we travel so much and experience so much of the world. We're very lucky to do so and that definitely inspired us. The idea of sports uniforms and masculine vs feminine is something we evolved from last season too. There was a lot of pressure with our debut - this felt more relaxed."
