At just 26 years old, designer Simone Rocha already has an impressive career behind her, and in our opinion, a rather exciting future ahead.

As the talented daughter of the celebrated John Rocha, Simone was born into a fashionable family, but don't be fooled - this innovative designer has worked hard to make a name for herself in the fashion world. From Central Saint Martins graduate to London Fashion Week's one to watch in a matter of months, it's Simone's pioneering designs, experimental fabric techniques, and clean colour-ways that have seen her beautiful collections go from strength to strength; we can't wait to see what she does next!

Catwalk Queen caught up with Simone to discuss cocktails, London Fashion Week and more...

Simone Rocha and Cointreau

What are you most looking forward to at London Fashion Week this season?
"I'm really looking forward to revealing the new collection at the show - my highlight is getting to show twice a year in London."

Tell us more about the bar you're curating for LFW.
"During London Fashion Week, I'll be hosting my friends and colleagues at the Cointreau Prive as it's just down the road from the show at St Martins Lane Hotel and is open from 13th - 22nd September. All Cointreau fans can join us by registering on the Cointreau Prive website. I've also designed a Cointreau cocktail to be served at the pop-up called the Cointreau Wild Rose, inspired by the fresh feeling of a wild rose garden. I built on the classic Cointreau Fizz cocktail by adding rose water and fresh rose petals to reflect my signature modern aesthetic as well as the romantic mood of the Cointreau Privé."

Where did you look for inspiration when designing your own Cointreau bottle?
"I was keen to add my signature touches of lace and modern aesthetic to the classic Cointreau design. I'm really pleased with how it's turned out - I wanted to use white so the label really pops out against the dark orange of the bottle with a clean finish, while preserving the instantly recognizable shape of the Cointreau bottle. I have also designed a bespoke lace wrap for a limited number of 1 litre bottles which I'm excited to showcase at the Cointreau Privé."

You went from Central Saint Martins graduate to London Fashion Week highlight in under a year - what advice would you give to fashion students who're looking to break into the industry?
"I'm a firm believer in internships; it's the best way to see the industry from an insider's perspective and find out what it's really all about. I did a huge amount of internships with designers and magazines before starting out on my own and it really helps you to decide if it's right for you."

We love the sugary pinks in your AW13 collection. What can we expect for SS14?
"My SS14 collection is top secret for now - all will be revealed during London Fashion Week in September!"

Where do you shop?
"Net A Porter, Dover St Market, Selfridges, and Browns. I also love vintage shopping, I'm often at Portabello Market. And I love a good car boot sale!"

What are you currently obsessing over?
"Anything pink - it's been a very pink season for me!"

If you could dress any celebrity - for every day and the red carpet - who would it be?
"I've dressed Alexa Chung before and would love to work with her again as I love her personal style. I'd also love to dress Saoirse Ronan again, she's got such an individual sense of style."

Describe the fashion industry in 5 words.
"Exciting, inspiring, hard work, fun, engaging."
