Have you seen Kate Moss' random new accessories collection?
For me, this is a bit left field. Ever-elusive world famous model Kate Moss has decided to launch a selection of self-designed technology accessories in conjunction with Carphone Warehouse which are set to be sold nationwide as of 24th July - weird I know.
Kate revealed the collection this week on Vogue.co.uk and said, "I was inspired by all the things I love. It was very much about the texture and the detail - a star, a stud, some leather". Of the partnership she said, "They approached me - I looked into it and I realised that there was nothing else like it out there - there was nothing that I liked, anyway - nothing really luxury, nothing really chic".
Styled mainly using black leather textures with croc embossed techniques and stud embellishments, the selection of accessories are set to be a unique offer of "fashion tech" from the mobile retailer. Kate added, "The range is a reflection of my personal style and every piece was inspired by something I already own and wear. After spending time designing each piece individually, I've loved seeing the range and my vision come to life".
To launch the unusual offering Kate hosted a fancy lunch at London's Ivy wearing a super chic LBD from Prada's AW13 collection. The selection of accessories, which will be available to buy online as well as in store, consists of tablet cases and phone covers and starts at an affordable £14.99.
What's your verdict? I'm still confused...
