If you ask me, Primark is the definition of a dark horse when it comes to retail. The super affordable, mass market, widely available (now online now at ASOS.com) mass volume retailer is well known for its bargain prices, less so for its amazing quality. Bu for the price you're paying, it's certainly good value for money. What we fashion folk don't always expect is amazing style which stops us in our tracks, but should we?

This week, Primark has released its Autumn / Winter 2013 campaign imagery, and I must say, its looking good. With prices starting at £6 and up to just £30, there's no doubt shoppers will be getting a bang for their buck with their must-have styles. With a predominantly dark colour palette, the collection has a mainly grunge theme with tartan, leather and luxe textured jacquards taking centre stage. But then comes the wild card, and possibly some of the best pieces amongst the offering, in the form of pink outerwear which looks like it could be right out of the campaigns of premium high street retailers.

What do you think of the shots? I hope the physical product lives up to the promise of these photos as if so, it's going to be an affordable fashion season for many come AW13.
