If you're feeling put out by the hideous weather that's expected to last the rest of the week - and lets face it, probably the rest of the summer too - it might come as some comfort to see what Reiss have in store for us this Autumn/Winter!

The super stylish AW13 look book is full of beautifully tailored modern separates, harmonising and combining the sharp style that Reiss reflects so well throughout its Mens Collection, with the contrasting subtlety of feminine fabrics.

As always you'll find plenty of flexible, timeless pieces that you can really make your own (sartorial separates like shirts and skirts look exceptionally strong next season) and ALL of the outerwear is gorgeous in the flesh thanks to combined textures, quality and attention to detail. Between the razor-sharp tailor cut suits, there's plenty of eclectic fabric mixology to excite and delight - believe us, we were very 'hands on' at the press day! - with a heavy dose of fresh lace work, lurex stripes, grosgrain finishes and hand drawn prints thrown in for good measure. Keep an eye out for Reiss' woven garments in particular, as they were certainly popular with the press!

It's far from a new direction for Reiss, however, there's a definite sense of re-establishing the brands heritage whilst simultaneously balancing trends and tastes with style; for example, there are Jazz Age influences and nods to Paris in the 1920's, but nothing screams "oh my god, I totally just watched The Great Gatsby". This isn't a brand that has been forced into a corner by the zeitgeist - it's paving the way for a more exciting, fashionable future.
