Nicole Kidman Cannes Film Festival

Happy Hump Day! Here is what's making fashion news in our daily round-up:

1. Nicole Kidman was all smiles as she arrived at the Cannes Film Festival last night ahead of the official launch today. The Aussie actress looked incredible in a chic blue sparkly dress, pin-straight blonde locks and a pair of ribbon-tied pointy sandals. Could they be Jimmy Choo? That's what everyone is asking after Nicole was named the new face of the luxury brand. The campaign was shot by Mikael Jansson and will break in August. This isn't Kidman's first big advertising gig, she was also the face of Chanel No.5 before it awkwardly fell into the hands of Brad Pitt. Stay tuned for more updates from Cannes, which kicks off later today! {Telegraph}

2. Speaking of ad campaigns, Christy Turlington is getting back in front of the lens for Calvin Klein. The supermodel returns to the label by starring in the autumn 2013-14 campaign for Calvin Klein Underwear. The images have been photographed by Mario Sorrenti in Puerto Rico, and will appear in September issues. Turlington has a long-standing relationship with Calvin Klein, which dates back to 1987 when she first hit the runway for the fashion house. She has also been featured in adverts for the Calvin Klein Collection and Calvin Klein's Eternity fragrance. {WWD}

3. Cara Delevingne has shed all her clothes for Marc Jacobs' cancer awareness crusade. She has joined the fight by posing nude for the designer's 'Protect Your Skin' T-shirts, which aim to raise money for skin cancer research. Cara follows in the footsteps of other ambassadors which include Naomi Campbell, Victoria Beckham, and Miranda Kerr. The current T-shirt design is available from or the Marc Jacobs boutique on Mount Street, Mayfair, for £23. Grab yours before they all sell out! {Vogue UK}

Dita Von Teese car4. Are you in the market for a new car? Then how would Dita Von Teese's vintage car suit your tastes? The burlesque star has put her 1939 Packard 120 sedan on eBay because she recently purchased a 1940 Cadillac convertible. As expected, the restored beauty doesn't include Dita herself but rest assured, according to the seller the vehicle has "been one of Dita's favourite cars to own." While the reserve price is hidden and has not yet been met, the current bidding price is at $18,302. You can check out the listing here. {Daily Mail}

5. The Missoni family have farewelled their patriarch, Ottavio Missoni, in Italy on Monday. The 92-year-old co-founder of the Missoni label passed away last week. His funeral was a colourful tribute to his legacy, with his granddaughter Margherita and daughter Angela wearing zigzag pieces to the service. Editor of Italian Vogue, Franca Sozzani, was also in attendance. {Telegraph}

6. Finally, what better way to finish off our daily news round-up than with this trailer for a brand new TV show starring one of our favourite funny ladies, Rebel Wilson. The Aussie actress appears in Super Fun Night, a new ABC comedy series, which she also wrote. It follows three nerdy girlfriends who decide to make every Friday night "super fun" by mostly staying in. I know, sounds hilarious already doesn't it? The trailer won't let you down either. This woman is a genius. G-E-N-I-U-S.
