amandaseyfried_givenchy.jpgHappy Hump Day! It's Wednesday, which means we are half way through the working week, woop. To get you through another day here is what's making fashion headlines over the past 24 hours:

1. With an angelic face like hers it was only a matter of time before the fashion houses came a knockin'. Amanda Seyfried has been tapped to be the new face of Givenchy. The starlet has signed on to represent the Very Irresistible Givenchy fragrance, replacing Liv Tyler. As a long-time fan of the brand, Amanda recently wore a Givenchy couture gown to this year's Golden Globes (pictured, right). As for her response when offered the job, she said: "f**k yeah!" As if you wouldn't? {WWD}

2. You love the show, now comes the clothing line. That's right, it's been confirmed that an official Downton Abbey clothing collection will launch later this year. Cashing in on the success of the series in the US, NBC will unveil an entire range of merchandise of DA apparel, homeware, beauty products, and stationary. But before you get too excited and start imagining yourself in your own drop-waist frock; sipping tea out of an official Downton Abbey china cup, it is not yet known whether the line will be available in the UK. Since it started in the UK and is based there, it would be silly not to. Right? {Vanity Fair}

3. Balenciaga has revealed its first campaign with Alexander Wang at the helm. Starring Kristen McMenamy, the campaign was captured by Steven Klein and offers a "very cinematic portrayal" of Wang's debut collection. {WWD}

4. Two never-before-seen photographs of a very young Kate Moss are set to go under the hammer. The black-and-white portraits were taken by David Ross during her first modelling shoot when she was just 14. The images were later given to Storm model agency to help launch her career. Last year, Ross auctioned off three photos from Kate's first shoot which raised £5,700. Now he has a couple more headed for the auction block at Bloomsbury Auctions in London on May 17. If you have some spare coin then the pre-sale estimate for one of these babies is £1,200. {Daily Mail}

5. Pretty, pretty oh-so friggen pretty Carey Mulligan is basically going to be everywhere from now on. That's because of her role in one teeny tiny upcoming flick, you may have heard of it it's called... er... The Great Gatsby. Opinion may have been divided on her weirdly made-up cover for this month's American Vogue, but boy she has taken things up a notch with this latest dreamy cover for Harper's Bazaar UK. I'm also digging the subscriber cover (pictured below, right). Ethereal, beautiful and hello... cherry blossoms *swoon* {Harper's Bazaar UK}

6. Did you know that before she became the pin-up girl of homemaking, Martha Stewart was an actual real-life pin-up girl? The lifestyle guru became at model at 15 and continued throughout her college years to help pay for her tuition. Check out these 12 stunning shots of the domestic goddess and prepare to be wowed... {Buzzfeed}
