Emma Watson in Chanel Couture at The Bling Ring Cannes premiere
We have been following Emma Watson's every fashionable move since the moment she touched down in Cannes on Wednesday. Yep, we are that committed to the cause. Last night brought the pinnacle moment of her Cannes visit when she attended the glamorous film première of her latest film, The Bling Ring.
The former Harry Potter starlet rekindled her love of Chanel by opting to wear a black-and-white gown from Chanel's Spring 2013 Couture collection. The long gown featured an off-white silk skirt and contrasting black sequinned top half including sweetheart neckline, thin straps and a sexy cut-out back section.
Running with the bling theme Watson added three silver earrings to her left ear, which had an almost ear cuff effect, to add a simple but sophisticated touch. Her hair was styled into a no-fuss bun and parted to one side. Her make-up was equally low-key with just a sweep of pink on her cheeks and lips.
On the red carpet, the 23-year-old was joined by director Sofia Coppola who wore a Sixties-style Louis Vuitton black shift dress. Watson posed for photographers with her fellow co-stars including Claire Julien in a blush pink Emilio Pucci gown, Taissa Farminga in a high-neck Valentino creation, Katie Chang in a floor-length white dress with black sash by Dior and actor Israel Broussard, who looked quite dapper in his black tuxedo.
Let's just say the colour coordination was spot on with this bunch! Some careful styling work definitely went into getting these guys ready. Isn't it nice to see what some of the younger guests are wearing on the Cannes red carpet?
