Kate Bosworth Topshop CoachellaIt has been a horrific 24 hours in world news, so to lighten the load a little this morning (although not to downplay events in any way) here is our daily round-up of what is happening across the world of fashion:

1. Kate Bosworth is a regular fixture at Coachella, and this year is no different. Except she did spill the beans on Topshop's upcoming Festival Collection, which she is apparently involved in. She even debuted a ook from the line (pictured, left).

"The design team and I thought a lot about the festival season, and, particularly with this collection, a lot of it was about the California girl. Obviously the perfect place to wear it was Coachella." Even though she won't be putting her name to the collection, this is not the first time Bosworth has collaborated with Topshop. 2. Is Bradley Cooper's latest squeeze the new face of Burberry? Reports are doing the rounds that Suki Waterhouse has landed a spot in the autumn/winter campaign for the fashion house. Since Burberry is known for casting up-and-coming faces, this wouldn't be a huge surprise if it were true. But since Burberry usually announces their new line-up in July, we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out for sure. {Vogue UK}

3. Georgina Chapman and Harvey Weinstein have welcomed a son. It is the second child for the Marchesa designer, who already has a daughter, India Pearl, with her movie mogul hubby. He has three other daughters from a previous marriage. {Page Six}

4. Beyoncé not only kicked off her 42-city Mrs Carter World Tour in eye-popping bosomy style overnight, her full H&M campaign has also been unveiled. She is clearly ready for summer, even if many of us still aren't. {Telegraph UK}

5. Miranda Kerr has finally spoken out about the rumours she was dropped from Victoria's Secret for being "difficult". "I'm sure anyone that has worked with me would agree that it's not true," she said, adding she will be walking in the VS Fashion Show this year. ''I'm just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It's three months at a bare minimum.''

Kerr also cited a move from modelling to entrepreneurship as what's on top of her agenda right now. "I've been modelling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realised I needed to prioritise my time." {Sydney Morning Herald}

Thomas Pink Womenswear

6. Thomas Pink is gearing up to launch a new women's wear concept. The menswear label unveiled a 60-piece line in New York yesterday (pictured, above) which centres around the staple white shirt, but also includes jackets and trousers as well. The overall theme for the collection came from throwing Diana Vreeland, Katharine Hepburn and Fitzwilliam Darcy of Pride and Prejudice "into a pot" and seeing what they could come up with. Neat! {WWD}
