If you happened to read my review of the Spring / Summer Temperley London show, you will know that I fell head over heels for Alice Temperley's riviera chic, 1950s-inspired show, full of full-skirted sundresses, huge hats and pretty blue and white prints.

One dress that particularly caught my eye was this full-skirted, crew-neck number with an intricate print inspired by the ceilings of Moroccan buildings. The Pavan dress is now in stock, but despite the £1150 price tag, several sizes are already sold out. This is the 'hero' dress of the collection and it's proved very popular.

Luckily, those of us on a high street budget have a saviour, in Debenhams in-house trend division Red Herring. There's no mistaking the inspiration for their blue tile-printed prom dress, available now for £45.

Obviously it's been hugely dilluted from the gorgeous catwalk original - gone is the mid-length full skirt in favour of a shorter box pleat design, and the print is less sophisticated, with bows instead of swirls and a slightly more graphic feel.

But as high street interpretations go, this is a really great find - a fab way to get the look for under £50.
