Our Three Ways To Wear feature has been on a bit of a hiatus recently while we waited for all the good Spring / Summer stock to hit the virtual shelves, but now the Sun is finally poking out from the clouds it's time to bring it back. And we're kicking off with a very tricky piece - Emma Cook's silk tunic with a skyline print. Graphic tees like this can be hard to wear with anything except jeans and a jacket because the colour mixing can be tricky, but with a little thought and experimentation you can work them into some far more exciting outfits. Here are three ways to try the top...

Emma Cook silk holiday skyline tunic top £221 at My Wardrobe

Look one: casual cool

Keep it casual and let the tee do the talking by teaming it with classic skinny jeans (if you can afford to splash out, invest in some long-lasting designer denim, Paige is our fave for skinnies). Keep comfy but add a bit of secret height with some wedge trainers, and then top it off with simple accessories in one of the top's key colours, mint.

Jessica Simpson 'Lexia' wedge trainers £95 at Kurt Geiger
Evan satchel bag in Mint £150 at Banana Republic

Look Two: Prints charming

Risk it and team the graphic top with a clashing print. These crazy Irregular Choice shoes won't be to everyone's taste, but they use all the same colours as the Emma Cook top and actually working really well with it. As the shoes are quite girly, your skirt should be too, so bring everything together with a heavy skater style. Then add a chic little bag and just a bit of bling - ASOS' earrings are perfect.

Look Three: Red All Over

Inject a bit of grown-up glam by tucking the top into a leather look skirt in a complimentary shade, then add the requisite heels. Antipodeum's ASOS collab is a brilliant way to get the designer look at a lower price and these snakeskin slingbacks are fab. Finish off with a simple bag and just one piece of statement jewellery - a turquoise ring brings out the blue of the top brilliantly.
