London Fashion Week is here, which means that we'll be bringing you all the latest show reports, backstage beauty gossip, and of course, another round up of what the team wore throughout the week! As the Catwalk Queen team launch themselves into the second day of LFW, take a look at what we wore on day one.

DSC_0930.jpg Catwalk Queen Editor Gemma wore a Supertrash jacket (shop it in silver here) over an Oasis maxi dress, with Primark studded ankle boots, and a Kate Spade bag (get a similar one here).

"This dress is an oldie but a goodie - though I have to cover up the sleeves as they have slits in them which I hate! Speaking of old faithfuls, it's the third season for this jersey and leather jacket, and I love it as much now as I did when I got it. My boxy bag is a fairly new purchase, and I'm having a hard time putting it down."

IMG_7628[1].JPGShopping Editor and newest addition to the team Amy wore her usual head-to-toe Topshop combo (monochrome polka dot shirt and tall Leigh jeans) paired with chunky heeled lace up boots from Office, green doctors bag from Urban Outfitters, and oversized coat by Vero Moda.

"I love being able to wear my boots this year (last season it was flats every day thanks to a broken bone!) and this definitely won't be the last time you see them. I always feel at my most confident in jeans, and as I spent my first day running to and from the Show Space, comfort ranked highly in my outfit choice. The monochrome polka dot shirt is my favourite purchase of 2013 so far, and the pink lipstick is a new fave thanks to our Beauty Editor, Steph."

DSC_0929.jpgOur gorgeous Beauty Editor Steph wore an Ashish for Topshop top, a Topshop black skater skirt (shop it here!) and boots from New Look.

"This fashion week, prepare to be shocked - I will probably wear different shoes at some point. I am loving the high-waisted-meets-cropped-top look right now. A red lip is an instant way to look like you've made an effort when you actually haven't (I swear, everyone backstage has one). See also: fishtail plait (unlike my shoes you will be seeing a lot of that)."

Contributing Editor Kate wore a Topshop beanie hat, Whistles wool and leather biker, AllSaints black jumper, H&M pleather trousers, Topshop studded ankle boots, and a Zara bag.

"For the first day of LFW I wanted to go for something really in my comfort zone so opted for all black with interest in different textures. And the obligatory black beanie is a must for me all season long!"

Our lovely Fashion Assistant Lucy wore a leopard coat from Zara over an Opening Ceremony for Topshop neoprene dress (shop a similar style J.W. Anderson number here), which she accessorised with a bag from Urban Outfitters, Dr Marten boots and necklace from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

"For day one of LFW I thought I'd play it relatively simple mixing my favourite Opening Ceremony shift dress with the coat I seem to live, eat and sleep in. Then I got a little excited and went for a 'more is more' look - I threw on earrings, rings, necklaces and cuffs and voila! I especially love my see-through UO bag which lets me accessorise with Thom Yorke's face."

DSC_0935.jpgOur street style photographer for the day Hannah wore leather dungarees from ASOS, a vintage silk shirt, vintage fur coat and brogues from Office. Hannah finished off her look with a vintage Chanel bucket bag and some ghetto gold jewellery.

"In this climate a street style girl's gotta keep warm and try and trend up at the same time, so I went for layers of vintage silk and fur wrapped up in pleather! I call it Alexis VS Alexa (as in Alexis Carrington, Dynasty Glamour VS Alexa Chung boyish charm)."
