Rumours doing the rounds claim that the former Dior designer hopes to one day take up a mentoring role, and is considering teaching at a number of schools across the world, including London.   • Still on Galliano - Oscar de la Renta has revealed he would love Galliano, who has taken up temporary residence in his New York studio, to stay on. "Will he? I cannot tell you that today because we haven't gone that far in really discussing it. The fact is, we work very differently in New York than in Paris. It's night and day.
