Kenzo jacquard dress £485 >>>

Take one dwindling fashion house, better known for its fragrance than its fashion, and bring in the people behind one of the most exciting retail concepts of the last decade. The result is the new, refreshed and thoroughly modern Kenzo, safe in the hands of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the creative force between Opening Ceremony.

This is a fashion label with a strong heritage harking back to the 70s, but since its namesake Kenzo Takada retired in 2003, it's hardly been headline fashion news. With this new blood and modern reinterpretation, all that is set to change and Kenzo is now the lable to covet.

The quirky 80s-style knitwear is already sold out, but if you still want to get your hands on a little bit of Kenzo before it's all snapped up, you couldn't go far wrong with this dress. Wide pleats give shape and volume, while the velcro belts and crossover detail give it a sporty touch. The print is a neon animal print - half giraffe, half leopard, in black, green and silver. Add killer neon heels to really vamp it up, or a leather jacket, tights and ankle boots for fashion week chic.
