Andrea Riseborough shimmied down the BAFTA red carpet in a bright yellow Vivienne Westwood gown that seemed to defy gravity. This is testament to Dame Viv's ways with corsetry - nobody does the 'heaving bosom' quite the way Westwood does, and though this dress looks like it's one nip slip away from the top of the sidebar of shame, chances are it's actually perfectly secure.

Of course, there's nothing new about this style. We've seen the same silhouette a hundred times before, on everyone from willowy Diane Kruger to curvaceous Christina Hendricks. But Andrea's risky colour choice gave it a new lease of life, and it would have been a real stand-out choice were it not for the fact Marion Cotillard wore the same colour in much more dramatic fashion by choosing Dior Haute Couture.

With almost every attendee choosing black, this pop of yellow was a pleasant surprise...but not nearly as dramatic as it could have been. Still, what's a girl to do when she's up against La Cotillard?
