Poppy Delevingne is the new face of Vero Moda
There is a new face to represent Vero Moda. Poppy Delevingne has been revealed as the latest ambassador for the Danish brand. The 26-year-old takes over from Alexa Chung, who has starred in campaigns for the label for the last couple of seasons.
The British model and actress has been tapped for the spring / summer 2013 campaign, in which she models a series of denim, floral and monochrome pieces. According to Vero Moda, the black-and-white striped designs act as the perfect contrast to their feminine florals, soft fabrics and graphic two-piece sets.
"Poppy Delevingne adds lightness and femininity to the images, without ever losing her edge," a spokesperson said. "Graphic and minimalist locations were chosen for the shoot to create an eye-catching reflection of Poppy's fresh look and the more stringent lines of the location."
You can also look forward to more of Vero Moda's much-loved high waisted skinny jeans and chiffon tops. As for Poppy's favourite pieces, she selected a khaki parka which she would "wear and wear all spring," a pair of floral jeans for a "wild night out," and a stripy black-and-white blouse which is "very French."
Speaking behind-the-scenes at the shoot, she said: "I'm a spontaneous dresser. There's no method to the madness. I wake up and I decide what to wear on the spot."
